    Your going to need a fan just to keep the air flowing. Maybe even temperature control if the lights dont burn hot enough. What is your lighting situation?

    It is possible to do it how you said. The thing is, its gonna be crazy hard to to keep them on a regular schedule. They should start budding just before the light changes. If you can somehow find out a manageable schedule it can work.

    The experiment is flawed. You said the plant is getting slight light hitting the other. I believe the difference in the leaves is that the wider leaves is predominantly indica. The skinny leaves are predominantly sativa. Not trying to be a smart ass. Just giving my opinion on the situation.

    Thos could just be empty calyxes. Feel that on on the top and see if it has a hard ball forming inside.
