Hey all! About a week ago I was given two hybrid plants that were just a few weeks old out of nowhere. Although this is a rad gift and I'm excited to give growing a try I'm kind of winging it. The guy I got my plants from was growing indoors under lights and I have no kind of set up. I have them in my windowsill and put them out in the sun for about 10 hours a day now watering every 2/3 days depending on the plant. I plan on sticking them outside mostly permanently but the guy who gave them to me told me they wouldn't flower till fall.. all the research I've done says the strains I have should take 10 weeks to flower... I'll have snow here in October!
So my main question is; can I put them outside during the day and out them in a light sealed room or shed during the night so I can control when they flower? I'd prefer to start the flowering process early august so I can begin to harvest them early October before we start freezing.
Sorry for the long post!!
All information is much obliged.
Thanks friends.
