    Shorter, bushier plants.

Tons of light, cold temps, topping keep em bushy; I grow 2lb plants that are 3-4ft tall. Heat and excessive lollipoping create lots of stretch

    Pot sizes

Right let me rephrase, if you have a life get a drip. if your life is the garden then I guess its not a big deal. I can leave my 10+ HID light garden for 2 weeks unattended. How much does said tree yield for you without drip?

    rockwool table set up

Ran some awesome basil + tilapia systems using 45mil pond liner, building 12" deep 4x8 trays in a similar manner, using large stock tanks from the local farmfleet for the res/fish tank

coco pH won't go down - anyone encountered this?

coco varies drastically from brand to brand. flush with plain RO, only adjust ph of nutes. coco tends to run high PH, feed often and PH nutes to 5.5-6 to combat high ph

    rockwool table set up

drip onto blocks placed on slabs. fish safe pond liner makes the best custom grow tables, you can use double layer of clear plastic, get a thick mil or could tear.can reuse slabs a couple times if tight on $

Switching from ebb and flow to top feed, rockwool

you can switch to drip anytime during the grow. drip DTW is much better and uses less nutes than E&F; unless you have a ton of small plants your moving around often

    Pot sizes

depend upon the grow style, in organic yes. but no not necessarily bigger pot = bigger yield. 2lbs in 3.5 gallon using coco dtw.

    Light/heat burn and mag def?

That was a deficiency of a mobile nutrient, meaning it always appears at the top first. If the top growth is healthy than its fixed.

    New growth standing completely up

Some phenotypes have lower stress threshold than others. For example one phenotype is fine a 1.8 EC another pheno gets burnt to a crisp from overfeeding stress. Same with overwatering, some phenos do not like wet feet others dont mind. Its possible that pheno is more sensitive to ethelyne, to...

    Light/heat burn and mag def?

I was thinking that would be good waterfall for DWC when i saw it. In my experience distribution only becomes an issue when using 7 or more gallons media. and even then I use 6 1/8" and I get 2lb trees with zero handwatering. 1 single 1/8" emitter can supply up to a 2 gallon pot. Ive been...

    Reusing hydroton

From tops eh. Must of been a good one, I mostly used an old ISS cut from up north for SOG How is that media working out, have you grown with it before?

    Veg time for 1lb plant

Anyone grown a 2-3lb plant in DWC? I get 2lb plants in coco dtw and was thinking about trying a DWC run but concerned about the stem/trunk size of the large plants in a system like that. Is this an issue in those nets pots with inert media?

    Light/heat burn and mag def?

if its too small use more than one dripper ;) I run 2-6 1/8" lines to a 3-10 gallon pot. 1 1/8" line to any 2 gal or less

hmm what about air exchange? ethylene could build up in unventilated areas. things to try

    Veg time for 1lb plant

You can get 1 pound/plant in your setup up for sure. I pull 2lbs from that space from 1 plant without CO2. Although being in soil you may not hit the numbers. I flip to flower 3-4 months from day of cutting or seed planting; so give it a few more weeks. Is the canopy full yet? If you have...
