Has anyone ever done two grows the same but used a much bigger pot for one of them, and if so, could you see a huge difference in the yeild?
I thought I would get bigger yeild, just wasn't sure if it would be much differentBigger root system bigger yield. So yes it should yield more. If given enough time to gain a larger root system.
What size pots? What medium? How long of a veg time?I thought I would get bigger yeild, just wasn't sure if it would be much different
Well I'm using 12l pots at the moment and only have room for two, I use Coco and veg time of 5 to 6 weeks. What size pots? What medium? How long of a veg time?
So thought of getting one big pot and see if the yeild would be bigger than the two put togetherWell I'm using 12l pots at the moment and only have room for two, I use Coco and veg time of 5 to 6 weeks.

That's why I think I might just be better with one plant in a much bigger pot so it has all the attentionThe problem with two plants side by side is they'll fight. They'll stretch more to compete for overhead space. They will literally try to kill each other to produce offspring.
You can see this with plants in separate pots that are placed to where they touch each other. They will stretch much more then if they don't touch.
Cannabis doesn't like to be crowed.
both ways have pros and cons tho if you grow more you can get the same yield in less timeThat's why I think I might just be better with one plant in a much bigger pot so it has all the attention
I think maybe trying one pot with bigger pot might be easier and betterI think more space for roots means more time for veg and to plant to get bigger. Therefore producing more flowers, but when it comes to autos I think at some point it wouldn't affect it too much. Like for sure 11L and 20L pot would make a difference but anything higher than 20 I doubt will affect too much.
You can produce the same or more amount of bud from one uncrowded plant as you would with 4 that are crowded. Just veg the single plant longer. That's why I think I might just be better with one plant in a much bigger pot so it has all the attention
If I can get a bigger yeild by increasing size of the pot, then I will try thatboth ways have pros and cons tho if you grow more you can get the same yield in less time
I will definitely try this, at least I will know which is worth doing moreYou can produce the same or more amount of bud from one uncrowded plant as you would with 4 that are crowded. Just veg the single plant longer.
Mine are only 12l at the moment, but they are doing quite wellYou can grow a tree in a 2 gallon pot with coco.
I use 9 ltr. pots.

depend upon the grow style, in organic yes. but no not necessarily bigger pot = bigger yield. 2lbs in 3.5 gallon using coco dtw.You can grow a tree in a 2 gallon pot with coco.

Great answer. Organics in soil, hell ya, but coco and DTW doesn't need a huge pot. I use 15 gal pots with organic soil.depend upon the grow style, in organic yes. but no not necessarily bigger pot = bigger yield. 2lbs in 3.5 gallon using coco dtw.
