    New growth standing completely up

Also in addition to improving drainage, you could improve air circulation and exchange since this issue can be caused by ethylene gas build up.

What if I dont fix my root bound

rootbound auto = screwed. rootbound photo =put on drip, grows better than if it were transplanted

    Light/heat burn and mag def?

you might be overcomplicating, but looks neat. its drip, use 1/8" tubing. Any deficiencies you might have, Mg included, become much less common with automated feeding

    Light/heat burn and mag def?

super easy, brute 50 gal can for res ( I have mine on castors for ez moving), ~400 gph pump, tubing, a dozen or so emitters, and a timer. BOOM. can add another pump to flume/aerate too but not necessary in DTW

    Light/heat burn and mag def?

They look pretty good, healthy; way too many tops, prune em off now. Say about .75-1 oz per top so only allow how many tops you need to get your desired yield. SO if you want 1 pound create 16-24 tops, prune off most everything else or get tiny larf nugs an no good solid buds. Get them on the...

    Light/heat burn and mag def?

1 or two emitters per pot should be fine; I run a faster speed pressure compensating drip emitter (10 GPH) whereas alot run slow (.5GPH), id suggest medium to fast drip speed, with short burst feedings. I fertigate as often as I can while minimizing nutrient runoff and making sure plants roots...

Root pruning if done properly boost growth and creates a sturdier plant. Ive also saved near death plants that had diseased roots and sickly growth by rinsing away the coco adhering to roots, trimming off most of them, repotting in fresh coco; ended up with healthy white roots and good flower...

    Reusing hydroton

Heat is a good method, if you have a pressure cooker sterilize them in there at 15psi for 1-2 hour they will literally be "lab sterile". Now most of us have way too much hydroton to pop in a cooker or just throw away

    Reusing hydroton

Must have been some beast clones if they ended up that tall! I agree, SOG ftw if not on plant count; Id do NFT this time around though, an amazing system for lettuce that's so water(only need 50gal res per 100ft2)/cost efficient and if you just popped cannabis in there :blsmoke:

https://www.jacksnutrients.com/ Greenhouse grade, without dry fertilizers like these, hydroponic vegetable greenhouses could not run profitably, comes out to about $.03 per gallon, whereas a lot of "cannabis" nutrients add up to $.75-$2+ per gallon. Using the nutrients most people use on this...

    Light/heat burn and mag def?

Ive grown 2lb plants from 3 gallon of coco without CO2. If you fertigate many times a day pot size is practically irrelevant for coco If you transplant wait at least 2 weeks before flip. Most of what your saying is incorrect for hydro coco. You may have 100 of plants under your belt, but you...

    Light/heat burn and mag def?

Sealed containers with H2O holds a large amount of thermal energy to be released at night without adding humidity. Also insulate your grow room and turn off venting/intake at light off to hold in heat. You can run your grow light at night and off in the day to offset temps, most people do this...

    Reusing hydroton

Why grow with hydroton/LECA if not reusing? At least add it to the flower pot out front or something. And to be clear I didn't use an enzyme for a while and still had good results reusing hydroton. I only added it later as a preventative (I let myself become less thorough with root removal to...

If you say carbonates are bad, then why do you use calimagic? It replaces calcium nitrate (the industry standard for adding Ca) with calcium carbonate to be more "natural". FloraNova is way better than the 3 part, but its thick/gunky which is a big downside. Jacks is better than the three part...

    Light/heat burn and mag def?

Could add some water buckets, to soak up heat and radiate it at night. Not sure how much this would do though; old greenhouse grower trick... like putting a bunch of large stonesaround plants outdoors (which does raise temp a couple degrees at night) all from thermal energy release stored...

I shocked myself with a grow of only maxibloom, no clamag, using RO water that produced some decent flower. I normally use jacks A + Calnit + MgSO4 and Si. You may want to try without it or at reduced strength if you run into issues with over feeding. I run calnit at 1.3g/gal and MgSO4 at...

    Flipped tf out

If the sqft of the light footprint isnt filled out yet totally weave it! You can do so til day 14. Also decreases your stretch drastically. I just did this for a couple lights on the last few harvests, got great results. Weave until the light footprint is filled out or day 14, whichever first...

    Reusing hydroton

Dry first eh? Sounds like that would work, maybe even better for removing roots, messy though! Grow, soak, rinse, all in big totes with hose sprayer is really low on mess and labor too. Couple applications of enzymes and let the natural biome take its role in keeping the roots healthy.

    Light/heat burn and mag def?

Add a little space heater? they are like $30 at hardware store with built in analog thermostat. Ive been pruning bonsai for years now; prune excessively in veg (not defoliation, just removal of lower scruff and leads) and top all the way up to flip. Prune days 1 and 21 of flower doing same...
