    Grow-A-Long with Dick

I recently checked the ph of the snow around my place, and it was like 8.4, which I thought was nuts. I live pretty well Medea from each coast and know that rainwater generally gets less acidic as you head inland, but 8.4 seemed a bit much. Have you checked yours?

    AC Infinity Grow tent

ok! I think it was your posts that got me looking as the Whisperquiet line. The prices are pretty damn good for what you get, also from a reputable brand. I just don’t have the room unfortunately, took a good look at one though.

    AC Infinity Grow tent

Couldn’t agree more. I usually learn the hard way lol then I get to speak from experience tho haha I have a T6 in the box, still haven’t run her yet, but out of the mid-range 6” fans, it seemed like a decent option. The biggest question on something like this is how long will the price for that...

One Pink Lemonade - no-till cycle 7 in 4 foot diameter pot, 5x5 tent

Smart. I think thats a great idea Have you used aloe with waterings to help avoid the dreaded side-spill? I’ve never done it but come across it often. I can’t recall if you ever mentioned it before

Where to find Gypsum in Canada

Late to the party; but I picked up granulated gypsum from HH - the granules are fairly large, I know BAS sells it in a fine powder. Wondering if I should grind up the granules to make a finer powder? Seems to me it would provide a more even distribution throughout the soil...

One Pink Lemonade - no-till cycle 7 in 4 foot diameter pot, 5x5 tent

I really like the idea of wrapping the sides of the fabric pots with plastic to help retain some water, but leaving a top and bottom band to allow for aeration/drainage

    Lactobacillus fail?

Read the stickied ROLS page... tons of info in even just the first 10 pages, touches on LABS as well.

    Lactobacillus fail?

Never heard of adding the molasses in with the milk at that step... I’d start over, it’s easy enough to do. What you have might be workable but personally I’d rather not spend anymore time on that batch and start over. I’ve made LABS a couple of times now and the rice wash after sitting a week...

    New here - Manitoba

Haha yea no kidding, sounds like a good time. I know a few other local guys who grow. mom planning to run NL and a Pink Kush CBD, both autos. Will be doing an indoor photo run as well, Black Sugar from Seedsman (Black Domina x OG Kush X Critical), kinda pumped about this one, I hope at least...

    New here - Manitoba

Manitoba here as well / welcome! Trying outdoors this season for the first time as well, going with autos because that’s pretty much my only option given a short ass growing season (northern Manitoba is where I’m at)

    Blumat watering system

a friend of mine uses them and he loves them, his plants and soil look and feel properly watered all the time. I think its just about getting them properly precharged/set before plugging em in the soil. I know they can't dry out or ur screwed and will need to pull em and soak again.

In need of some help from stealth growers

the easiest option is to go with a large piece of furniture, like an armoire or a larger cabinet - you can light-proof it without too much effort and exhaust out the concealed side or the back - buy something used off kijiji, it'll look less conspicuous

    Early sign of PM?

Have never dealt with PM, but do know it can spread. Keep it separate from the others if you can, and scrub down everything in your tent with disinfectant, spray down the plants in the tent with neem as well, I’d keep using it even if you get the PM under control. Just my two cents, other people...

Need help with my first supersoil for Autoflowers.

I’d go with fish bone meal, may be some extra microbes there but probably not a ton given it’s processed. I honestly don’t know a ton about rock phosphate, maybe glacial rock dust is more of a thing here in Canada. You can also use basalt, gypsum, oyster shell flour.

    Lactic acid bacterium, organic fertilzer

I've been playing around with LABS lately, made up some bokashi with it last week so we'll see how that goes I really want to make some IMO3, seems as though this is the backbone of KNF, with LABS playing more of a support role, but LABS by itself has a ton of uses Did you make the FAA or buy...

Need help with my first supersoil for Autoflowers.

If you are rolling with that recipe I'd cook for at least a month, two would be better, Blood and bone meal are both very hot and need some time. Totally agree with the fishbone meal being a great choice, but also hot and takes time to become available in the soil, so cook time will help with...

    Official Gaia Green Grow Method

I just ordered 10 gals for my flower pots - can't go wrong with the extra root space and available nutes. The soil should get better for the 3rd and 4ths runs etc, as more nutrient become available over time, but its that first run with an organic amendment soil mix that maybe isn't the best so...

Mega crop or Gaia green ?

gaia products in canada are priced well on indoorgrowingcanada.com, they tend to be more expensive on amazon. But i've seen some of the larger bags going for OK prices on amazon, the 2kg buckets are more on amazon usually though.

    Official Gaia Green Grow Method

KNF has been blowing my mind lately - my background is a major in biochem and microbiology and I can say that the science behind KNF is solid as fuck. True KNF shouldn't need any amendments at all other than what you find in the nature around you, but as long as you don't try to mix KNF methods...
