Where to find Gypsum in Canada

Ive checked home hardware and crapptire, neither have it around me. Havnt had a chance to venture out further yet and im starting to think I might not even bother.
I just checked the HH website and they have it there so your HH store can order it for you.

That's how I got my Mosher agricultural lime.

Walk in with the order number (from the website) to the order desk and they can make it happen.

I'm talking out of my ass, but I do know there are glues and binders in drywall that probably aren't beneficial.
Nope, you are correct. A bit much for indoor mixes, there's 2 ingredients they heat and mix with it. I forgot one, despite having to stand on a 10,ooo gallon tank of it.
I think there is sodium hydroxide they mix with heated ground gypsum. Fine in a outdoor garden after composting, just messy.
I think Ag gypsum is different than gypsum that has been calcified for drywall. Can't remember , think its how it dissolves in water.

If it's sulfur you need get some magnesium sulfate, aka epsom salts. Just make sure it's unscented. Super cheap at the drugstore.
I have a bunch of epsom salt from a long time ago grow I just dont know how true it actually is that it's soluble in the medium. I find it hard to believe many things I read on these forums lol. like mollasses. ...

I don't put it in the medium, I use it as a foliar spray, and another grower I know uses it dissolved into his water. It doesn't take much, so I would research how much others use for setups similar to yours.

Late to the party; but I picked up granulated gypsum from HH - the granules are fairly large, I know BAS sells it in a fine powder. Wondering if I should grind up the granules to make a finer powder? Seems to me it would provide a more even distribution throughout the soil...
