Hey Man. Just read the thread about dry backs and must say we look at the issue quite the same way ! Have you figured it out yet? I run a 4x8 sub-irrigated bed with terra preta style potting soil (not soilless mix). Trying to find the balance between bottom & top watering and of course dry back's at given Times is key.I made some conclusions and would love to share them if you like. Peter
