So here is an update w/ pics. It's day 13 after germ and these monsters are blowing up. I transplanted from seed starter cubes to red cups at day 6 and 7 days later I have roots coming out of the cup drains. Got a new timer last night, hope it last longer than a week. The cheapy walmart one...

These are 13 days old from germ. Should I transplant since roots are visible? What size pots should I transplant too? Any other feedback is welcome. All informative responses will get +rep. Info is like gold.

If your going for a sensi grow why risk pollination at all?

a few people here do it. I have down it in the past to facilitate chlorine evaporation from tap water. O2 is good for roots, so water high in O2 will be good for them.

if your medical and aren't holding more than allowed, I can't see why you should worry unless the law where you are requires the plants to be propagated indoors.

thanks all! I plan on vegging at 16/8 for 6 more weeks, thinning them out as I see fit. Hoping for at least 8 strong ladies from this. but right now my timer is busted... I hope the irregular light cycles don't mess em up.

a week is not a bad wait too keep training and vegging. Space permitting fit them in the room, why wait any longer if there is some room?

I agree with GC, those are ready to start 12/12. Just trim the lower bud sites or get supplementary lighting or else you'll have nice tops and mediocre budding on the sides of the plant.

update: my timer broke... It had been acting funny like not switching on until I hit it a few times, and then later last night I started to notice the smell of burning resistors, so I unplugged it and it was HOT! Trashed it, now I need to go buy a new one or else my light schedule will get all...

useful info, +rep. I think I get it now, the UVB increases resin production - so it's a quality booster. There are other ways to stress your plants intro making more resin then exposing them to UVB radiation... is this right?

Ok, I was really wonering why they are so popular/important? Do they increase quality? Yield? Both?

I have seen a lot of people using UVB bulbs to supplement their HPS lamps. Is this seriously beneficial? Are any gains worth it?

@kyoin - its MG soil w/ MG perlite @phusionsa - I can't see why that would be an issue. And yes that is 11 days from the first pop. @ dsmal - its a 600w MH conversion bulb.
