How long can you leave a male?

I've got a couple 12/12 from seeds going on week three and I've got one that is developing the staminate, I want to let it grow a couple days but I don't want it to ruin my girls that are 3 months in the making and only got 3 weeks left. The little ball I can see isn't much bigger than a needle head.

Just in case it isn't a male it only just showed an hour ago and isn't detectable to the naked eye yet.

From now on I'm not going to grow 2 flowering batches at the same time so I don't have to worry about this, I switched them to 12/12 after they were 2 weeks post sprouting cause they got burned and I didn't think they would make it anyway.
