I was wondering if placing an airstone in my water & nute mix would be beneficial by adding oxygen to the mix? This is in relation to soil growing Thanks

a few people here do it. I have down it in the past to facilitate chlorine evaporation from tap water. O2 is good for roots, so water high in O2 will be good for them.

I have a couple air stones going. plants need O2 in the water, and if it's sitting too long it goes flat.

You can['t have too much o2; there's Even a super- oxygenating water can you can get that is supposed to increase plant growth - according to the manufacturer. It plugs in but I'm not sure how it works. I'd like to give that a try. Here's the link to it. Has anyone given it a try yet? http://www.rittenhouse.ca/asp/product.asp?PG=677
