It could be any indica-dominant strain. It'd be hard to tell when they're in full bloom, much less in veg.

Provided your space isn't larger than around 60x60cm, yeah, it can be done. You might want to add some smaller bulbs around the plant(s) during flowering.

Hopefully you'll have better luck this time. When they finally sprout, keep that HPS at least 2 feet away and check for heat with your hand near the sprouts. If it's too hot for your hand, back off the light.

You know you don't need lights to germ, right? The type of light you have shouldn't matter. The paper towel method hasn't failed me yet.

A portable AC would be good, or a window unit. You could even vent your exhaust out of the same window if it's not too conspicuous from the outside. I wouldn't bother with co2 just yet. A good emitter will raise your temps significantly. You should try and keep things as simple as possible until...
