I actually just planted a new sprout myself! i won't know wheather it's indica or sativa, or a mix of both, till It get's going though. All I know about it is it's called harry the eighth, and the bag I got it out of was awesome! Good luck skippy!

If u can afford the hps, get it, u won't regret it come time to harvest. The cfl's u mentioned are more suited for flowering since they are 3000k, but not to worry, even hid's can use some side lighting when plants get big. Personally, I veg them seedlings under cfl's, 6500k, for about a month...

Damn guys, i just got me some of that superthrive, havent used it yet, but after reading this, makes me wonder.... Naturally the stuff would burn the plants, I mean, u know it's potent shit when it's telling u to u put one drop in a gallon.... I think I may opt-out of using it.

... Three days is a good average. Soil temp should be noted at this time though. Depending on ur setup, the moist soil can become less than desireable for the young roots. I just had a seedling a couple months back, temps were too cold and a root tried growing up out of the soil, took forever...

My mix is similair to jangles... 1/3 perlite, 1/3 moss, 1/3 soil,+dolomite lime:-P

when to transplant depends on the size of the pot ur using now, and how fast ur plants grow. Those two lights u got will get u going, BUT NOT FOR LONG. Ideally, u want the 6500k bulbls for vegging, but 5500's should work too. Get u some more lights, the highest actual wattage 6500k u can find...

No need to cover the seedlings. One of the reasons for covering clones is to hold in moisture, since a clone has no roots n the beginning to take water to the rest of the plant, it must be absorbed through the leaves. a seedling however, will be growing roots first thing, so no need to cover.:-P

Weather misting, feeding, or just giving ur plants some h2o, ALWAYS ADJUST PH AS NEEDED. Yes u can use light nutes as well, most nutes have reccommendations for that on the back of the bottle. U say u need to mist them soon, why?

Veg nutes should be high in 'N' to promote vegetive growth. Anything that is high in 'N' and lower in 'P' and "k" such as fox farms grow big(6-4-4) will work for veg.

$24.99!!?? They got basically the same thing at wal-mart for like $6 bro. Don't worry about the humidifyer till later on. Temperature is more important than humidity imo, and no need to use it if u don't know if u need to or not. Humidity should be at or around 50% for veg, but it is not...

Personally, I've never tried rockwool, so I can't help ya any with that. BUT, I DO use the jiffy pellets, the kid that expand when u soak em in water. Honestly, no, niether the jiffy orthe rockwool are a must for starting seedlings. Myself, I use the jiffy pellets simply for ease of transplant...

How big is the pot the plant is in? It could have been rootbound, that'll make em basically stop all the sudden. Did u transplant into a bigger pot?

The general rule is u can grow as many plants as u can fit in a 3x3 area. U already got ur light?

I have a 150watt hps bulb that WILL fit in a regular socket, but regardless, I need a ballast to run it, which needs to create a 4,000v pulse to fire it up. Point is, u need a ballast.
