    Yellow sporting on leafs.

Yeah those are true 50w you can prob add em all in there but at this stage i would not go more than 30,000 lumens even 20,000-25,000 will be good and a little less demanding. Once in flower you will want throw all of those at them.

Best way to get dense/firm nugs?

Yup knew that was you :) Welcome to RUI btw. Over watering does not effect the performance of your carbon filter :) humidity does and RH outside the tent only matters if it on the intake I'm gonna guess Stettler Alberta? Angry much?

    Yellow sporting on leafs.

Just out of curiosity i feel like you may be giving to much light which might be why you are seeing a cal-mag issue. LED is a bit different of a beast. Its not the most ideal but download a lumen light meter on your phone and at that stage of growth shoot for maybe 25,000-30,000 lumens most

    Yellow sporting on leafs.

If your running 2 true 400w cobs already I think that's plenty for that little tent. I would not add any more with Co2 supplementation. The real stuff not the little bags

Best way to get dense/firm nugs?

Is that the ones you claimed they gave you for free to test out? Sounds more like a sale price. Are you gonna start that Chinese knock off stuff being just as good quality here too? Not all carbon filters are equal and they don't perform well in high humidity that was your problem. This kid...

    Ph rising continuously first grow

Keeping it simple as has been stated R/O water is unstable due to lack of bicarbonates. Cal-mag usually contains calcium bicarbonate and will help provide some stability to the water buffering capacity. This is usually preferred over sodium bicarbonate *baking soda) since calcium is used by the...

    Ducting and ventilation question

They also remove dust and particulate from the air but you don't necessarily need carbon filters for that if you are not worried about odor. Like said above you will either need adequate air exchange for Co2 or supplement Co2 in your room in which case you will want it to be sealed for...

Difference between nitrate and ammonium nitrogen

Basically ammonia/ammonium is broken down by de-nitrifying bacteria into nitrites and finally nitrates. Most agree plants prefer nitrates and they are more readily available to the plants. Nitrates promote uptake of some cations unlike ammonium that competes. Agree with the shifting of PH as...

Difference between nitrate and ammonium nitrogen

@jayjay777 if you are going outside soil on a large scale your best best is probably organic. It's sustainable and you can reuse the soil crop after crop. If you go synthetic eventually your going to need to replace the soil from salt build up.

Tail of the Fox? Check in with my grow. foxtailing, nutrient questions

I'm quite familiar with LED i grow with an HLG-600 that provides no IR. You have your numbers all mixed around which tells me you are either BSing or newer to using them. You say your leaf temps are around 82/85 and your room temps are 79/88??? without IR how is this possible? Here is how it...

Quantum board advice - all white? Or add IR red too?

If I went UV just the reptile for now and if i see some results I will upgrade from there. I think HLG sells some small far red strips now that i could attach and wire into my HLG-600. And grabbing those 4000k boards does sound like a good idea if nothing more than a little more optimal to...

Quantum board advice - all white? Or add IR red too?

Actually I was thinking adding just It but you make a good point I could just purchase 4k boards and just swap em between veg and flower I'm not sure how much that would help but the boards aren't overly expensive. I still think some added IR would benefit me though

Tail of the Fox? Check in with my grow. foxtailing, nutrient questions

Yes be careful here and elsewhere. Maximum photosynthesis with leaf temps of 85? For real? And you want to avoid high temps in late flower.
