Could probably add a temp controller if you wanted to get fancy with it too?

    Cheap water cooler

Much agreed and again I say the biggest influence allowing higher temps is a healthy colony of beneficial bacteria. Not so much the aeration method used

    Cheap water cooler

Good option if you are using lighting with IR but with LEDs you would end up with leafs temps a bit to low for optimal growth. I still think a chiller is a good idea if you are newer. While I agree a well established live system should have no issue running water temps even into the low 80's...

    Cheap water cooler

Water temps will always be cooler than ambient temps this can range a lot but I generally find at least 5F cooler. This is due to evaporative cooling not to mention the surface temp of whatever your reservoirs are placed in such as cool concrete or wood

Growing differences between HPS and LED?

Download a free light meter app. I'm in flower with 85000 lumens at the moment but you need to slowly work up to it or you will get light bleeching. I am also running co2. Anything 45000+ will do for flower but more light is optimal. The height isn't much of an issue because LEDs give off less...

questions about selective defoliation, light rating, lumen output, and LST

I usually take any leaves out that are blocking bud sites. It hasn't been an issue for me but it should only be done to healthy plants. I don't notice my plants slow in growth at all if it's just a couple here and there. It's more pruning than defoliation. I'm sitting at 85000 lux right now but...

Almost all meters have an auto temp adjustment. I would make sure you have meters that calibratable and the calibration solutions. Humidity is definitely an issue but there may be more. Once you get the humidity in check then you can rule that out.

Why are there holes in my leaves?

Not trying be a dick but seriously if you read your first post... It's a good indication of why.

Droopy & slow growth 2.5wks old

With those temps and that humidity your plants going to have a hard time respiring properly. If you using led your temps should be ok but that humidity with this tiny plant it cannot pull enough water through that small root system so it's shutting down respiration to protect itself. You should...

    Fully organic DWC

Find a fish tank and get a filter from it. A sponge filter will do great for single res. Or just buy a 10gal sponge filter and ask someone with a well established tank if you can out it on there for a week. The filter provides a great home for bacteria. By doing this you will seed the filter...

    When to flush

Don't over feed and just taper off at the end. Flushing might be useful in soil but no need to do it in hydro.
