WTF is going on with seedling roots growing straight up in the air?

When you plant your seeds do you germinate them first? And how deep do you plant them? If the tap root is placed facing up it will grow up and then curve back down. If you are germinating them first then make sure the tap root is facing down. If you are just popping seeds in then you may be...

    DWC PPMs and PH question

In high temps where the plants are respiring more you need to feed at lower ppm or you will burn them as you can see in the pics when the ppm was increased. Always feed your plants based on how they respond feeding is different in every system. You plants look like they are getting the...

    Defoliate or not?

Doesn't look like you need much imo. The bigger fan leaves blocking light to lower buds should go (like was suggested some like to remove all the upper one). You have good light coverage but would still personally leave the smaller fans on the lower buds just to help them a bit and they aren't...

    Dehumidifier during co2 grow

Much agreed. I was just pointing out that the accuracy of the sensor and the preset start/stop (deadband) of the typical house hold dehumidifiers are terrible. Especially if trying to follow vpd as you should in a high light CO2 supplemented room.

    Dehumidifier during co2 grow

It was a comment related to my previous post. What are you not understanding? You should not run it manually... It needs to run as needed 24hrs a day to keep the RH desired. Who knows what size dehuey and how much you plants are respiring. That's the whole reason I talked about a controller...

    Hello. Newbie here. Help appreciated.

Yeah I'm a hydro guy and keep my mother in promix. Probably a lot different in organics. OP 12" is still to close. New growers tend to think more is better if you continue with this way of thinking you will watch your plants die. Less is always better than more. I hate advocating this but often...

    Hello. Newbie here. Help appreciated.

How are you getting 2200 ppm runoff in plants that small? What are you feeding them. I think you could back the light off a bit and they are showing some sign of minor heat stress maybe from the light being to close

    Lights out for 3 days

If they are mature they will likely start to flower and reveg. You may see some funky growth but that would be normal under the circumstances. Depending on how stable the genetics are you may see some herming but only time will tell

    Dehumidifier during co2 grow

One thing I would change if buying another controller is to get one with more than one setpoint so I could have my night time humidity 5-10% lower than daytime

    Dehumidifier during co2 grow

Dehuey needs to run based on the RH 24/7. The sensors on the units suck balls so I bought a dehuey with auto restart function and run it off an external humidity controller that I can calibrate as needed. Also watch your humidity right after lights out. It can spike very high so letting temps...

    Defoliate or not?

Pics... There is no one answer that fits all so you will probably get varying opinions. With a pic at least people can see how much and where defoliation would benefit you.

    Drooping plant

Vapor pressure deficit. But don't go running out and grab a chart and apply it. I would suggest a good amount of research on how to use it properly because if not used properly people generally get mold issues and if you can't control the environment your better off running lower humidity than...

    what's on my plants?

I have never had to deal with them thankfully but before treating for anything confirm that that's actually what it is. A common solution I have seen is neem oil.
