I gotta lose those waterfalls. HELP!

Well I'm along for the ride and will help where I can. Different strains have different nutrient needs or likes for that matter. I always run a single strain in my system... But that's not to say it can't be done because it can

I gotta lose those waterfalls. HELP!

Well let's see how things go. I never used GH ph down always 85% phosphoric acid so maybe it's just weak as hell

I gotta lose those waterfalls. HELP!

Idk what chart you use can you post it but I think it should be green not yel and yellow would indicate ph of close to 5 or just below if I remember right. Drops don't need calibrated so I would trust those and it makes more sense that you needed to add that much acid if that's the case. I...

There is not much I can help with if the testing equipment doesn't work. Ph perfect or if @Airwalker16 can do it withough ph and ppm info the GH and his schedule.

I gotta lose those waterfalls. HELP!

OP you have a fish store near you? Take a sample of your res water there and ask them to test it for you. They do it free. See what the ph is I have a feeling by now it's like 4. Phosphoric acid at 30% will give you about 1ppm of phosphorous per ml. The numbers aren't even adding up in ppm either.

That or RO and just (as much as I fucking hate AN) ph perfect since something is off here. Something is really not right if he is using that much ph down.... Like really not right. Those pens have to be waaaay out

I question that PH pen maybe? Did you measure the PPM before starting the acid?

I gotta lose those waterfalls. HELP!

So how many ppm did that add? Seems like to much... That would be like 100ppm? If so that's to much. I fucking hate that ph up shit. How can they recommend 1-2 ml per gal. do yourself a favor and order this next time it will last you a lifetime. https://purebulk.com/products/potassium-bicarbonate

I gotta lose those waterfalls. HELP!

How much do you normally use? Seems a bit much. Then again I use 85% phosphoric acid and that is probably like 30% and the citric in it is nothing in my opinion

Yeah... You would be surprised (well I doubt you would but) at how many struggle with it.

I gotta lose those waterfalls. HELP!

I agree but depends on transpiration rates. Some can't go over 500 and some can do 1200. The fact you can't go over 800 tells me you you have your temp/humidity in check. If I'm pushing my plants hard it's hard to get over 600 ppm and not burn em. Many ways to skin a cat but if I lowered...

I gotta lose those waterfalls. HELP!

I mean it's a small bump to cal, mag, iron and nitrogen.. insignificant for the most part but without knowing the tap ratio is a very conservative amount. That won't hurt and could help

I gotta lose those waterfalls. HELP!

If it was ph would drop. The process for plants to take up ammonium/ammonia releases h+ions and lowers your ph. And easy to nute burn and likely dark green leafs

I gotta lose those waterfalls. HELP!

You can add 1ml per 5 gal cal/mag just to bump nitrogen a tiny bit.
