ChloroBA C2 255w / Alien Genetics confined kush extravaganza

1500 bucks is too much money for such a chinese led with only 255 watts. You almost can buy and construct your own light with 20 3070's cobs @50 watts. @captainmorgen, its a chinese led made of 45mil chips of osram, I think. I know some chinese leds that are made of 45 mil bridgelux leds.

    DiY LED - Cree CXA3070

Thanks for the advice. Also, I have found GS18A07-P1J and GS18A09-P1J from meanwell: http://www.trcelectronics.com/View/Mean-Well/GS18A07-P1J.shtml. 82%/83% efficient and they have one in 7.5 volts and 9 volts with the same amps. I like it.

    DiY LED - Cree CXA3070

60 days ago or so I build my first growlight out of 40 pcs (7 strings of 5 cobs) cxa 3070 AB's with active cooling, total 2.331 watts. I use active cooling except when my girlfriend was visiting, then no cooling because of the noise. No cooling cost me a couple of leds because of the heat, but I...

    DiY LED - Cree CXA3070

Well, I received some free samples from a European dealer of Cree. When I wanted to install them, I noticed they were 70 volts (or something like that). Did not get my hands on a 36v 3590.

    DiY LED - Cree CXA3070

Well....my "silent mode" (all fans off for three days because girlfriend was at my place) was not a success..two leds broke..dammn. I think that one power source for 5 drivers and one potmeter to dimm the voltage would be a solution. Is that even possible? Don't know much of electricity. Has...

    DiY LED - Cree CXA3070

Have been away for a few months, so I did not read all new developments. These 35 AB's are the basics, will keep reading and possible add other lights. But for good comparison I need to get more experience and get to know the plants and room to get a steady harvest.

Link to the manufacturer: http://www.led-heatsink.com. Nothing to cool the room, only a softbox of 1500m3 running at half the speed.

    DiY LED - Cree CXA3070

They are cooler and fan from Mechatronix. They can cool up to 20.000 lumens and 200 watts dissipation. They stay very cool. I have also some other herbs that never grew outside in the sun but under this light it grows and grows. We will see in a few weeks how its going.
