Thanks. Found it: http://www.cutter.com.au/products.php?cat=730+nM Germany is on my continent, Autralia somewhat far away. I have already emailed led-tech if they have them on stock.

Thanks @Positivity. Unfortunately 8 weeks waiting time for the Osrams. That seems the only way for some acceptable efficiency I think. -edit: I found these, will ask them if they have them on stock. It looks to me if they are the same...

It makes every glow a little bit red at lights out, but that's it unfortunately. Back to the drawing board!

WTF....7.2% @350mA. I just received a few of those with 730 nm. With that efficiency they are just good for heating. @captainmorgan uses them also if I am not mistaken.

But I dont get it. They want it the easy way...why use such crappy leds. Why not the CXB's. Are they stupid or something?

    Spectrum king (false)claims

"Spectrum King LED Grow Lights may LOOK like Chinese High Bays on the outside, but they’ve been totally redesigned internally to produce custom supercharged LED light fixtures that maximize your plant productivity." LOL. It is a chinese ledlight (the outside) with apperantly a Cree chip(s) in it...

Maybe you only forgot your pills, or you are very lonely and this is the only way to get attention from some people. Maybe you it is best you get going to facebook...

Well, I am one of them. Cheap chinese stuff with low efficiency. Why would you buy a ledpanel with an efficiency lower or equel to HPS? It cost more, but you do't get more out of it. And HPS is nowadays very cheap. The best advice is what Jimmy wrote: save for DIY or quality panel.

Hi Cap. Last run I used the 730nm from about week 2 flowering, 7 minutes after lights out with 13.5/9.5 hours, I experienced no faster flowering but a larger harvest. I have 2x epistar 10 watts 730nm in my flowerroom of 55 square feet. I have been thinking last couple of days what went wrong...

Who here has used 20 1k hps to grow

What Pos and Green said... look for large and efficiënt drivers, meanwell or so. The harder you run a cob, the more cooling it needs, the cooling can be active or passive. Good cooling makes a cob run more efficiënt. -edit- Look at your budget first and then decide how many hps you want to...

Who here has used 20 1k hps to grow

What you need to think of before you start, is how much efficiency do you want? The efficiency of hps is about 36%. Leds efficiency can be about 50% or 60% but you need to run the leds on low amps and you have to use more leds to get the same amount of watts. You need to compare PAR-Watts of...
