I know your problem. I have the exhaust often off because there is too little heat in my growroom, otherwise I run the exhoust very low like you. Could you isolate your room more? A tent does not isolate very much. Maybe wrap it up in styrofoam to keap the cold outside the tent.

My experience with the Alpines is that they are only good for cooling of the heatsink, not for stimulating the airflow in your growroom. You would be needing an external fan in both cases (5V or 12V) because you want the air in the room mixed up. Maybe.....if you have a very small growroom or...

Chinese cobs, I have also some of these (7000k, about 70 watts), they are not the best leds in town, but good for vegging not for flowering if you ask me.

I wanted to use one meanwhell driver per 5 alpines, but I remembered that I had an unused ATX laying around. So I use now the ATX which gives 5V for my 35 Alpine and 35 Mechatronics coolers. They are running perfecly.

BB's 5000K: 50H = 2-step AD's 5000K: 50F = 4- step The colortemps are almost the same, but the 4-step is closer to red, very small difference. The BB is just more efficiënt I think.

I was nipping to much of my moonshine I think. According to datasheet the BB's are 70 cri (9500lm), AD's are 80 cri (9000lm). Is there a difference between 70 or 80 cri regarding par. Or are they the same?

I have access to top bin 5000K. I have here right now AD's and BB's in 5000K. AD's are 70 cri, the BB's 80 cri. Wanted to veg with them, but first want to finish my other lights. If I can make somebody happy with these....

Led-and driverporn! Thanks to @SupraSPL with his great advice and calculations. I received all parts to build a ledsystem that contains 55 leds (cxa3070 AB's of course) running @38 watts each. Total of 2090 watts and I have enough spare parts to increase to a total of 2660 watts @38 watts each...

What is everybody's experience with ordering meanwell drivers (from europe)? I ordered 15 HLG-185H-C1050A and some other drivers, but delivery is suddenly posponed to early 2015 when first delivery was promised within 2 weeks (this week). Does meanwell have deliveryproblems or do I have a bad...
