If you have a digital camera, try taking a shot from as close as possible while still in focus. Then take the pic to photo shop or photo shop elements or even iphoto and zoom in on an area with lots of trichs. Its amazing how well the trichs show up. Here's an example.

I love the way the trichs light up when a camera flash hits. Yours look like they are studded with thousands of little LEDs. Very Cool.

I wouldn't hurt to dig in a bag of manure to add some nitrogen to help break down the leaves. There are other N sources but I prefer something more on the organic side. Some of the best I've used is rabbit turds. They're sort of like cocoa puffs for your plants.

In our sort of business we don't like to use the word KILL. We would rather say Harvest. Say it, Harvest. Now doesn't that feel better.

Actually at first it will make your plants grow a little slower because they'll think they're getting to sleep in an hour later. But in a couple weeks they'll get used to it.
