I have looked all around here in town and can't locate any kind of magnifier higher than 10x, and those aren't even suitable for what i need. I tried the hobby store, and the fabric store and neither could help. I want to see my individual trichromes dammit...

sure do, and that looks like it will do the trick....i was still sort of wanting the loupe so i can use it to take photo's with {the faq tid bit about close up pix and shitty cameras}, but this handheld magnifier will be perfect for what i need.

If you have a digital camera, try taking a shot from as close as possible while still in focus. Then take the pic to photo shop or photo shop elements or even iphoto and zoom in on an area with lots of trichs. Its amazing how well the trichs show up. Here's an example.

Guess it didn't work ehh. lol. I did a search and found them. Ended up ordering two. If you order was more than $25.00 the shipping was free. I have an extra if you wanna stop by and pick it up. The 60x to 100x from Radio Shack is available here as well. you can't hold it in your hand. It has such a small focal point you will need to set it down on a table to view anything, at least I had to. VV

telescope eyepieces work good too and so do the eyepieces from binoculars.
i use a 9mm eyepiece for looking at the trichs.
the pics below were taken through a 9mm and 25mm eyepiece with a cheap 2megapixel camera. the pic in my avatar was with the 25mm eyepiece too.

I went and got the one at Radio shack, but i found out earlier that VV is right, it is very difficult to look at anything holding that scope in your hand....even with the focus adjust on there i can't focus on shit.....how am i supposed to look at anything laying flat on a table when it is growing under my countertop???
