I don't see any male parts. That looks like a calyx. The brown center looks odd, like it might have a seed in it? You should cut it open... Plant looks pretty good. You might have overfed it at some point, that is why you have some dying leaves.

That brown spot on the stock looks like it could be signs of rotting. Did you try to scratching it to see if the spot is soft?

I would like to store the pollen for at least 3 months. I have tried to store pollen in glass containers in the past, and it got moldy. What storing method has worked for you? How long did the pollen last?
