Basically i have a plant thats been growing great outdoors for about a month now, well up until a few days ago that is lol and ive only grown 2 clones from local dispensaries.. so this is my first real grow and its bagseed so im pretty excited its female but now im worried bout other issues. Transpiration.. and it seems bad so i just hoping for some ideas or any thoughts. any advice is good advice. thanks

I have the plant in some organic miracle gro potting soil

been using tap water only watering when top few inches feel dry and i dont know the ph but its been growing good so far so i imagine it cant be that far off from a ph of 6 to 7 which should be okay ?

so since it was doing good and was starting to show pre flowers i figured id i give it miracle gro all purpose i kno i kno lol many ppl have issues with that but that was alittle over a week ago and it was a seriously minuscule amount like a 1/4 of a 1/4 teaspoon haha and only that one time and have been using regular water ever since then. and the plant seemed to love it. until a few days ago when the temps got to 100 degrees and my plant decided to open up and transpire heavily.. the new growth looked glazed with water from trying to cool itself down from what ive read but i cant find any solutions yet for my specific problem no matter how much i research transpiration and cannabis lol so 100 degrees and it started sweating then got burned because the water sat and the sun boiled it. but now every time i put it in the sun n only when its in the sun it starts to sweat and in turn burn, get rusty, some dark colored spots on the edges, droops, curls and juss generally looks bad and in the sun the older leaves just brown n droop more. seems okay as soon as i move it to shade btw no more 100 degrees but it has been bout 90 with humidity of bout 40 and the wind has been 5 to 10 mph and the plant seems a lot better in shade but im also curious as to how to fix or go about this to prevent further damage and how i could put my baby back in full sun eventually cuz i started alittle late for outdoors lol but any help is much appreciated. pictures should help i think sorry their alittle blurry. thanks in advance. btw theres a sticky trap in there but the plant is not infested.. ive been checking underneath the leaves with a magnifying glass juss to make sure it wasnt a horrible bug infestation so i dont believe that would be the cause. maybe some other idea?

New growth looks okay but has black tips and when it hits 90 degrees mid day, the new growth transpires heavily then wilts and burns so the shade definitely helps.

Rust, droopy and some edges browning and folding underneath. i trimmed some leaves back

Droopy, burning and curling/twisting

Blackish on parts of mostly lower leaves

Thanks in advance again

Most mj plants can tolerate those temps just fine if you keep the root zone cool. You need to be in bigger pots that keep the soil cooler and hold more water for the plant to take up. Plus transplanting to fresh soil will take care of any nute needs.

Thank you very much for the reply bugeye. So the heating of the roots may be part of why the plant throws its water from the roots to the top growth?

transplant into bigger pot, and paint the pot white. White reflects light. The pot will not dry out as quick, and it will not get hot enough to damage the plant's roots.

If you use MG water soluble nutes, make sure you feed lightly.

Good Luck

Okay cool, thanks guys i hope it works out. Im just confused hahaa dang plant is literally dripping water out of the tops like little balls of water covering the whole leaf surface. looks frosty with alil sunlight lol oh n the 1st clone i got was in a smaller pot and got way more miracle grow and the yield wasnt bad for my 1st time so its just weird to me. actually ive never seen that on any plant i dont think lol anyways. ima try n transplant soon n maybe itll turn it around. Thanks again for the good ideas guys
