yeah that will work, im using the dr150 tent with 2 600's and the temps are fine, i have a 100 cfm fantech pulling air through the hoods and a 177 cfm fan pulling through a filter at the top of the tent

i have tried hanging cfl's under hps light and the results are not worth the time, a cfl looses light at a rapid rate as distance increases, so what happens is that you have these cfl's blocking light from the hps without throwing much of there own so its a real negative, i have had good...

i started out with a hydrohut about a year ago and it killed everything i put in it, if i remember correctly it was the 4x4 tents that were bad.... but not all of them, personally i would ask the seller about it,

i think your boy is taking to many of his shrooms, if you put the ph that low it locks out many nutrients...they will be in the soil but they wont be available to the plant, your first sign that he was high was the mg in the soil, keep soil ph around 6.5-7

try having the fan suck through the hood instead of push through it, i just made the switch and it cools better

once they crack you should put them in the ground, i always plant as soon as the seeds pop the shell, the plant is running on stored energy so its not good to let them sit for to long in towels

i grow start to finish under 600's i even clone under them, yeah maybe there are some advantages to using halides for veg but its not nessasary, if your only using one light then an hps is the way to go, as far as the sunsystem goes i would stasy away if heat is an issue and get the air cooled...

yeah go with the 600's they have the most lumens per watt and will blow away a pair of 400's

i would go with the ufo as it has almost twice the power, im not so sure about the tri-band thing, from what i have seen is that led's use only 2 colors, the reds and a few blues so it seems like the 3rd color is a waste of time, go with the ufo i would say but if your really concerned about...

your 400 bucks is enough to get you growing, for the nice thick buds you want you need an hps for flowering and some cfl's or tube floros will be fine for veg, for the once a month harvest you will need 2 seperate rooms or spaces so you can constantly be taking clones every few weeks or so...

your 6 lights are going to draw more like 65 amps or so, each 1kw light is like 10.5 amps...plus the ac then addd 20% to the top of the load and its looking like a 100 amp pannel for the room alone

the ballast wont run cooler, you just can use smaller supply lines, thats it

i agree...air flow is your best option, i bought one of those IR heat sensors and i measure the temp of the leaves
