Yep, Grow Big is heavy on nitrogen. I have no doubt you are def. Usually around 3-4 weeks from seed you will start to see the effects of N def. if you aren't using fertilizers.
Tending every 2-3 days is no problem at all for soil or hydro.
When I did soil I only watered every 3-4 days and it is easy to make a auto waterer - a little tubing, timer and a pump and a water res is all you need to be gone for a week. Like ORmeds said though you need to mind the plants...
You are doing fine. Maybe just a little slow is all. Going to 18/6 can't hurt. Otherwise I think you are good. Keep bumping up those nutes very slowly.
75º water temp may eventually lead to some nasties growing in the res, but it isn't an emergency. 65-70 is better.
Otherwise it all looks...
You should add another layer to your tinfoil hat man, this is OBVIOUSLY all about those tupperware coffins and the Ameros. Dude, are you using that cheap-ass Chinese tinfoil? :blsmoke:
WAKE UP!!!!!
My Wal-Mart has re-opened the garden section for spring. No idea what they have for nutes though.
My suggestion would be to look at the NPK of FoxFarms Growbig (NPK: 3-2-6) and try to match that at WallyWorld. Read up on NPK ratios if you need to.
Nutrient lock doesn't mean they quit drinking, just that they can't access the nutes in the water.
If the plants look fine don't worry. They have phases of being very thirsty and times of not drinking.
I don't think the temps are a problem at all. Ideal is 60-65 at night so 55 is no problem, if it even gets that cold with the plants and heat from the light. It would be cheap enough to run a little heater to raise temps a little bit if you wanted too. I wouldn't worry about temp.
I only have a Vortex clone and the Sunleaves is about the same weight, but a ton quieter, but that vortex-like fan isn't great quality. I basically got it thrown in for free on a carbon filter deal.
Those folks at Sentinal seem pretty sharp...they charge enough anyways. You would think they wouldn't sabotage their products with something that would screw up a grow. I would hope anyways... Do their products come with any warnings?
I love my Sunleaves. You might have turned me onto that LB. I can't praise it enough. Not a hiccup out of it after running probably a year straight now on the hot side of my lights. It also lets me dial it up and down with the Speedster with no complaints.
In that giant tent, after venting the...
