individual mandate upheld!!!!!!! not under commerce clause... but under taxing authority... whatever that means.

its not looked at as a product you must buy... but as a tax that the government can implement....?

whatever... good day for America.

Thank you John Roberts.

cnn just pointed out:

Bushh II nominated John Roberts to the supreme court. Senator, at the time, Obama voted no on his confirmation. 7 years later John Roberts is the vote, on the supreme court, that upheld one of Obama's signature accomplishments.

This whole thing about how the decision made in the supreme court, about Obama care ,will show who wins the election is just stupid.

Since the republicans lost they will flip this in to a campaign message. Obamba is killing our country with his healthcare law. Vote for Romney to get it appealed. The democrates will campaign on how right obamba was & that the supreme court agrees.

Vice vuersea

If the democrats lost they would flip it about how the republicans want to pollute the air and poison the poor mans water. See how much we need healthcare but they revoked it from us. The republicans would campaign about how right Romney was and how obamba is a socialist & the supreme court agrees.

So does any of this sound familiar? Why yes it is the same shit that happens every time they speak. This is the problem I have with our two party system. They just fight for the hell if it.

Honestly I did not want to be forced to buy obamba care but who gives a shit. There are things 1000x more important then any of the shit they bicker over.

End rant here

Will the liberals and progressives say it's because our Supreme Court has a liberal bias? If the Supreme Court rules against ObamaCare, will they blame it on a conservative stacked bench? Any predictions?
At least this thread helped with some awesome recipes, so it was not a complete waste... OBAMA 2012

Yea congratulations on adding another tax. How long before the EPA starts calling urine a pollutant and taxing me by volume.

The supreme court says its unconstitutional but passes as a tax. Prepare yourself for the onslaught of bs regulations and fines that are ridiculous but pass as a tax

We all need a lot of shit bro, I just can't believe some of you think it's right to force someone else to pay for it?
I hope you don't use public roads, stop signs, stop lights, fire departments, police deparemtnes, or live in the USA. My tax dollars pay for a military to protect you.

So, why not a little extra cheese and a cherry on top. Why not pay for birth control pills for Sandra Fluke?

A take my children to the library every weekend ( or wifey does ).. This family enjoys the usage of the library.
We visit the Library 3 or 4 times a week.

A bat and a ball cost $1.10 together and the bat costs one dollar more than the ball. How much does the ball cost?

Correct.

We have to visit the library that much because my kids read a book every day. They have a 1500 page quota every 2 weeks.
My kids read everyday as well...mandatory, but they do seem to enjoy it. They now recommend novels to each other.

My kids could turn on the TV anytime they wanted, they choose to not watch, but instead read. Like Martha says "Its a good thing."

Ok We know its a done deal now (unless repealed) So does anyone have real solid information on what this will cost? From the poor to the wealthy? I am curious, seeing I am now paying a new "tax" I would like to know what its going to start out at and how far and fast its going to go. Will my insurance increase? From what I have read, yes but nothing solid. I looks like this will cost 160billion a year where is the money coming from?
