the people visibly seem to be supporting obama. when i drove to LA, i saw two ron paul yard signs (one from 200 and one ron paul bumper sticker.

i lost count of obama bumper stickers after a dozen and a half.

this does not include what i saw while in LA, just along the way though rural areas.

i live smack in the center of the "silicon forest". a lot of high tech manufacturers, intel, nike, columbia, etc.

population of the town is about 80,000 with a daytime, working hours population of a whole hell of a lot more than that.

we actualy do care about poor people. our climate makes us an ideal place for homeless, and we have laws protecting them from harassment. plenty of places where they can go for a meal or a warm bed, too.
