C'mon man, listen I'm not naive and lost my rose colored glasses a long time ago,Joe has been in top level politics a long, long time. The nature of politics in this country over that amount of time is going to dirty ANYBODY'S lands at least a little bit.But to make those accusations vis a vis who he replaced is ludicrous, compared to his predecessor he's a arch angel,he replaced the most flawed ,unhinged, narcissist in presidential history.Biden's such a hypocrite. How anyone believes anything that guy says is beyond me.
You’re dealing with fourth-stage maganoma.C'mon man, listen I'm not naive and lost my rose colored glasses a long time ago,Joe has been in top level politics a long, long time. The nature of politics in this country over that amount of time is going to dirty ANYBODY'S lands at least a little bit.But to make those accusations vis a vis who he replaced is ludicrous, compared to his predecessor he's a arch angel,he replaced the most flawed ,unhinged, narcissist in presidential history.

Yeah McCarthy is a POS, can't believe anything he says.....What a jackass. He's still lying about Medicare and SS. I swear he's gotta be a compulsive liar. And so much for uniting our country. I just can't believe how bad this guy actually is.
Biden escalates fight over Social Security and Medicare, frustrating Republicans
The battle stands ready to play out on Capitol Hill and in the 2024 presidential election, highlighting a growing partisan divide as the White House says Biden won't back down.www.nbcnews.com
Rand Paul proposed vouchers. Mike Lee wants to take SS & Medicare to "rip 'em out by the roots." Rick Scott proposed sunsetting all entitlements and raising taxes on the poor and middle class. They've proposed eliminating social security to be replaced by individually managed brokerage accounts. That's reality. I'm very happy Biden is taking them to task. What a jackass. He's still lying about Medicare and SS. I swear he's gotta be a compulsive liar. And so much for uniting our country. I just can't believe how bad this guy actually is.

something tells me that the privatized alternatives would be a bit light on the disability end of the program.Rand Paul proposed vouchers. and mental health and anything pandemic related.something tells me that the privatized alternatives would be a bit light on the disability end of the program.
On another thread I bemoaned the social Darwinism that seems to be a recurrent theme among the freedomers.and mental health and anything pandemic related.
Something's gotta be cut to make room for the profit line itemsomething tells me that the privatized alternatives would be a bit light on the disability end of the program.
Their plan was to gut the IRS. Damned small-government shysters. Making the world safe for dark money.Something's gotta be cut to make room for the profit line item
Naw the republicans will still continue to push their anti-union policies...I'm guessing this is a more appropriate place to debate union support for Biden, and the potential loss of it. I wasn't hiding from the conversation @Herb & Suds - was just trying to avoid further posting in a thread where it didn't belong, so radical right of me
As I was trying (but obviously failed) to convey was Biden can't take union support for granted. The unions will send their money to support issues that directly affect them, as that is what members will demand of leadership. Why would they support Biden if he is only going to do what everyone expects Republicans would do, because he claims it's "difficult to sign"?
The fact that four unions rejected the offer but are forced to work under is not going to sit well, in fact the one union president is already gone because members didn't feel he represented them. Money isn't everything it would appear.
Freight Rail Union President Loses Re-election After Members Were Forced to Accept Contract
“The general consensus is basically this is a spite vote, that’s the only way I can describe it,” one worker told Motherboard.www.vice.com
This is not just my personal opinion, lets see what people that study this shit think:
More than 500 Labor Historians Condemn Biden’s Intervention in Freight Rail Dispute
It’s never good when people who spend their entire professional lives studying the subject say you fucked up.www.vice.com
Now the bigger concern, comments made by National Railway Labor Conference chairman, Brendan Branon:
“I think it would also apply to the airline industry as well, where there are a number of significant outstanding negotiations, especially with the large pilot groups. Not to mention the ongoing Amtrak negotiations and all of those other industries under the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA).”
Railroads, unions draw their lines in sand as Biden, Congress move to prevent strike
With President Biden urging Congress to prevent a rail strike, both rails and unions are drawing their lines in the sand on labor deal terms and consequences.www.cnbc.com
Haven't even touched on any of the issues he has had with other trade unions, not sure it would matter.
So, am I crazy to think that Biden may have an issue with unions if he is not careful?
