That said, my point was that Joe Biden has created the situation that will make it almost impossible for them to charge Trump for having any documents. As well, I think Biden will just say, as Trump did, I declassified them. Not positive but I thought I read Obama made it so the VP could declare documents declassified. Maybe the guy will use the Trump statement. If not, the fact is he was out of office and had classified documents in several places, and as far as I can tell, that is a no no.

I don't know how those documents ended up in Biden's garage so how can I say he effed up? Very little information is available regarding Biden's situation and the DOJ rarely communicates what it has found until AFTER it completes an investigation. This gives time for blowhards to say whatever they want but that doesn't make them worth reading. (looking at you)

What I do know is Biden's actions on this matter after the documents were found were completely different than Trump's. I have read that Biden faces no legal actions on this matter because of those actions. However, an investigation has been launched and we will not be privy to most of what they find until after the investigation is complete. Trump, on the other hand, lied, stonewalled and obstructed NARA in its efforts to retrieve government records. After his residence was raided, Trump came out and told his story to the media about the situation. Unsurprisingly, Trump lied when he gave his side of the story and the government came forward to set the record straight. Otherwise, we would be in the dark on that matter too. The raid to recover Government Classified Information was precipitated by video images showing his aides removing documents from the storehouse that was near the pool -- AFTER -- they agreed they would not do so. So, no. There is no comparison in the two cases. Most of the trouble Trump faces is due to his own acts of obstruction and perjury and not the simple act of bringing the records to Mar a Lago.

It depends markedly on who “a president” is, or more accurately “a former president”. Or yet more accurately “a former presidential imposter”.

The President is very unlikely to engage in the chicanery of unilaterally declaring stuff declassified. That is the trademark and manner of someone who had and has contempt for the institution.

tRump is not President anymore, so your question would be is a MAGA country club more secure? We could take a poll, but personally don't think one is needed to know the answer.

Joe Biden has not made it impossible for them to charge tRump for having the documents. tRump broke the law because of his intent, not because he has the documents. If tRump simply gave back the documents when it was brought up, he wouldn't be in the legal jeopardy he is in now. We don't yet know if Joe Biden's situation involves criminal intent. To ignore that difference indicates who is attempting partisan spin.

They are all countries that limit the freedoms of the people the government represents. Now every human
still maintains the same rights that we all should. The government restricts the freedom of them to exercise those rights.
In every country I mentioned the right to bear arms and the right to free speech are both severely limited.

In the United States we see the right to free speech being limited by the federal government. We also see people trying to take away our Second Amendment rights. Nobody here or at least the majority , want to be like Canada , Russia, China , North Korea or Iran. There are too many other countries to mention.
