SSHZ does Irie Seeds "Orange Gasm" under 2 Gavita LED's- PART 2

That's incredible mate! So dense! I'm a big fan of Irie too, I'm so keen to get some of his lemon skunk!
This is my 5th crop under the gavita's and never needed a net or support in any way (including ties)yet. Most plants end up about 34-36 inches with thick branches so no support is necessary (4-5 week veg period). And it doesn't matter if it's a sativa or indica or somewhere in between- every time a pretty even canopy and no support. I pinch once and defoliate often. I veg with the LED at about 36-40 inches, and as soon as I flip the light, I lower them to 20-22 inches. All the white light keeps them short and bushy. I figure stretch is always about 1 foot in flowering and no more, and some things I've done were 80% sativa or more. Under HPS, they would be 6-7 feet tall.
I've done the Sweet Zombie twice, once under HPS and the other under these gavita's. Look here on RIU for my HPS grow, you see some friggin monster plants. The Gavita grow is at the Farm. Below is a pic under HPS, just look at those monsters, and they had weeks to go. I blew away the HPS yield numbers with the gavita's. Off the top of my head, I got in the 65 oz range with HPS, and near 100 oz under the gavita's (with a lot less electricity used).
Under the gavita's, they stayed nice and short- it's a pretty stocky strain anyway, I don't think I really ever had to stake them under HPS even though the cola's were huge. Quality wise, it's maybe a "B" grade but no better. It's fine but not what I would call super potent- just a nice, relaxing 100% indica. It's more known for it's heavy yield than it's buzz. Tastes and smokes nicely too. I'm glad I did it twice, but I wouldn't do it again- just not potent enough for me. All my grows are from seed, never clones so there tends to be some variety in each room.

Beautiful veg and canopy, should have hella yield like that.
Lbs., not Kg..........the room consists of 2 4x4 spaces, with a center area where I can stand and have the dehumidifier on the floor. But total grow space is 4 x 8 basically. My 4 finished Gavita grows have averaged about 102 oz, I shoot for 100 oz each time. I do t really change anything grow to grow, just the strain- which all have been heavy yielder (or supposed to be). So, 2.2-2.3 GPW seems to be my norm.

Oh sorry its around 2.7kgs just under 6lbs per 4 x 8 area ....i was a little mistaken still overall great results !
Has anybody here ever run exotic genetix seeds ? Just had mine come through the post would like to get some feedback on previous experiences if possible

Looks pretty good, sounds good, any full room pics? Saw you mentioned you have some on other sites, post them up here too.
I start seeds in paper towels, when they are large enough I plant them directly in Pro Mix in 4-5 gallon pots. Veg period starts when they all pop thru the soil. Normally I like to go 4 weeks of veg, but sometimes forced to go 5 if they aren’t large enough.
Well, 6 lbs. would be 96 oz so let’s figure I’m getting 3 lbs and a couple more oz per side. My largest yield was what I’m doing now, Orange Gasm, and that was 106 oz total. Totally blew my mind getting that much in such a small space. Each plant had 16-18 branches, that was the key. I topped the center bud, all the side feeder branches grew equally into solid colas.
If you are looking for full room views, I would suggest a visit to thcfarmer and watch some of the room videos I posted there. I try to direct people there to find those as they are the most impressive thing I could show you. I don’t think RIU allows a large enough video file but I’ll try again in a few minutes.
Exotic Genetix come highly recommended by others but I’ve never grown their stuff. But people I trust swear by them.
No heating is used except for the led’s And the dehumidifier when that is turn on. The pots sit on a cement floor, and it’s never been a problem. I used to have them raised on large rubber industrial kitchen mats. No difference what so ever. Actually, my winter crops always turn out better than my summer ones. Leaf temps are the key under led’s, not soil temps. Too cold is bad obviously, but in a house, it should not be a problem.

True lovers of the plant always want to pop new beans , why have the same cut as thousands of people when you can find unique strains that only you have in your catalog?
Fair enough if you find a cut you like yeah keep running it but i prefur not to have the same as everybody else i like to find the gems and mother them myself
