Reparations MADE

Always a touchy subject. In this case, it's great that it came from a private party. I think that's the only way true reparations can ever be made, is through privatized efforts, because the same gov't laws that attempted to put an end to unfairness, also handicap any efforts of restitution. It's up to all of us to get creative to help people that were heavily restricted in terms of employment and education....unless you're RobRoy, then fuck 'em.
how?

that will never happen..and that's not what they're looking for.

have you watched Blade Runner 2049? because i want to tell you something.

From? Making a list of people who are upset about trans children and sports? It wasn't a big enough list to stop the laws being enacted. I didn't make the list.

It is alright to have no opinion on the topic, sometimes the conversations be like that.
when did you decide to identify as a bitter dipshit

You're asking how it's the same laws that prevent unfairness also prevent restitution, or how people might get creative to help?

The former is pretty simple, when you try to get rid of unfairness to a specific group by creating legislation that attempts to treat everyone equally, then they're the same laws that prevent you from trying to help any specific group. The unfairness coin has two sides, help on one side and hurt on the other.

The latter could happen through the everyday consumer, spending with black owned businesses and the businesses could develop their own employee education programs, assuming that the consumer activity was significant enough. Businesses could develop some sort of rating system to identify their commitment.

Of course it will never happen. We have selfishness bred into our culture and there will never be kindness en masse.

i think you hit a nail on the head with the first highlighted statement but the true answer lies in your second highlighted.

it's selfishness and we can't change that; it must come from the raising of the child..the adult has the habit.

remember, some people if you can't afford your don't deserve; our friend @rkymtnman thinks that..what kind of thinking is that?

those people built this country for free and all the white men in the south acting like babies..who's going to do this work now? when the slaves were freed.

Selfish..selfish..selfish..selfish. they also had to start paying for sex in town..poor babies.

i feel as if every American should have to give a sample of their DNA- states garnish wages- easy peasy. if you have nothing to hide this should be an easy thing..right?

That was so killer right there. Young people don't see it. When you get older, you can spot the people that don't have kids. Little hard to describe, but there's a kindness missing and it's been replaced with an extra bit of entitlement. Of course plenty of people with kids are also terrible, so it's far from absolute, but I know exactly what you're talking about here.

Not quite following, but you're talking about the have/have-not syndrome?

Something that doesn't get discussed enough is how kindness supports and strengthens rights. It is not a weakness, it's a shield. Pretty much everything we've lost comes from people being shitty about something. Take open carry in California, all these assholes running around carrying their guns in private businesses because a) they literally know fuck all about other people's right and b) they don't give a shit anyway because they're the only ones that matter. And what was the end result? No more open carry. Fat kid lost his chocolate bar.

Hahahahahaa!

As if you were important enough to feel I need to lie… now that’s some real egotistical shit there. Your a internet troll. U mean shit to me. So just quiet down clown.
I agree that it doesn't make a bit of sense to lie to me about, what is it exactly? That there is no racism in the US? Or that Black people aren't affected by it? I mean those statements are blatantly false. Yet here you are, lying about it.
