The measures include banning accounts associated with QAnon content, as well as blocking URLs associated with it from being shared on the platform. Twitter also said that it would stop highlighting and recommending tweets associated with QAnon.

“We’ve been clear that we will take strong enforcement action on behavior that has the potential to lead to offline harm,” the company said in a tweet late Tuesday.

Accounts that are “engaged in violations of our multi-account policy, coordinating abuse around individual victims, or are attempting to evade a previous suspension” will be suspended permanently, Twitter said.

Over 7,000 accounts have been removed over the last few weeks for such violations, the company said in a statement. It also expects over 150,000 accounts globally to have reduced visibility due to these measures.

The QAnon conspiracy theory is centered on the baseless belief that Trump is waging a secret campaign against enemies in the “deep state” and a child sex trafficking ring run by satanic pedophiles and cannibals. For more than two years, followers have pored over tangled clues purportedly posted online by a high-ranking government official known only as “Q.”

I can honestly say that I have laid my heart bare in this thread. There is nothing I want than for society to come together and be united as equals. I don't believe people are fundamentally different, meaning that given time and opportunity the echos of racism we see in terms of income inequality and life achievement will continue to decrease given the opportunity.

5000/x = (48/14) *9, and solve for x. I think. I just smoked so might need to check it a couple times when I can actually see straight, but I think there was something weird about what you said anyways so I am not 100% I could get the answer from the problem as you gave it without busting out a pen and paper.

You are steamrolling past the point I made earlier about how many students in a area and the number of schools. And unless you have a source to show were your getting those numbers from it is all bullshit trying to answer another equation for you.

Detroit has about 50,000 students stuffed into 100 schools, Livingston county has about 15,000 in 82 schools. What you are not understanding is that the city schools are nothing like what you experienced.

The best way forward is to help the people we have abandoned as a country find the easiest pathway that they choose to get out of poverty, be it job relocation programs and some sort of housing relocation program, increasing the public schools and offering a daily caloric diet for these kids that is healthy, and I would love to see a bonus program linking the kids grades to them actually getting 'paid' for their success in school.

That is good, I would just disagree that it is a 'wrong' to extend a hand to communities that we have kept the ability to create generational wealth until far too recently to expect everything to be as easy for them to achieve success as it is for the children of people who have achieved a middle class lifestyle.

And admit it or not, white people have never been held back from their ability to break into the middle class and higher because of their race, and white males have not had to deal with the insititutional sexism that has dominated our society too.

Having 100% of our populations best and brightest (regardless of sex or race) achieving all they can will mean we all benefit. It needs to be as easy for any child to get as far in life as any other. And today it is still not the case in America. Because of racism.

The best way forward is to help the people we have abandoned as a country find the easiest pathway that they choose to get out of poverty, be it job relocation programs and some sort of housing relocation program, increasing the public schools and offering a daily caloric diet for these kids that is healthy, and I would love to see a bonus program linking the kids grades to them actually getting 'paid' for their success in school.

Defiantly those stats would also be a big factor, but you should understand that walking into a school with on average has around 5,000 students is vastly different in the approach of being in a school with a few hundred kids.

How about you also take some time to consider that part earlier with 2200 cops in a 160 square mile city vs 160 cops in a 600 square mile radius. Also the facts around how redlining and mortgage practices stopped these communities from being able to move out of the cities when they could have taken advantage of the post ww2 boom, and how the high population and purposefully kept low income levels of the cities we stuffed people in causing a increase in crime rates.

Also when you look at those trailer park crime stats, look up how many police calls they have vs the surrounding towns they are in and when start to think about what the related rates would be to city states, how poverty and proximity might be a driving factor in a lot of crime you are wrongly associating with skin color.

Racist policies are ones that actively hurt a race of people. It is not a racist policy if it is aimed at helping a portion of our society that have been purposefully kept out of achieving the same level of economic success until much too recently.

Wealthy white people have access to many more benefits offered by our economy and have for a very long time. It is not racist to help other races, that is racist logic.

Funny enough it did fail me, I only had people on me with school to stay eligible to play sports, if it wasn't for that I would have never graduated. When I went to college I left in my second year with a 1.6 GPA. My highest math in high school had four seventh graders in it and I was a senior.

Later on I went back and killed it.

If I was a little darker, and got profiled a lot more often, or was stuck in a school with 5,000 other kids might not have stood out enough for a teacher to care enough to talk me into playing sports, or a community around me that helped me with the support I needed. Who knows I might have had a record and never gotten the opportunity to use the federal loans we have here to get my education funded while I worked to gain my degrees.

Racism impact is still very much being felt in our minority communities. Pretending otherwise is just being willfully ignorant.

The pisa wikipedia page shows us literacy dropping from 504 to 497 over the last 20 years in reading, and 483 to 470 in writing. These are standardized testd based on explicit knowledge not washy statistics like graduation rate which will obviously increase with policies such as one child left behind.

I may be already convinced that these programs are in the minority. Again, realism is not racism. Africans did not maintain the wells that brought them clean water through several clean water campaigns, why? Because it's not their well, it's not their system, they didn't work to create it so why should they maintain it.
