For those working less than 30hrs a week. That new threshold that the latest and greatest liberal ideas brought us. You guys are such first level thinkers.

Liberal Gov: "We are demanding you give what we say to those working over 30 hrs a week"
Businesses: "Ok then, we'll cut people back to 29 hrs".
Liberal Gov: "Hey! that's mean!!"
the american business owner has been doing this for quite some time and well before any PPACA.

next objection?

which leads me to comment..when was the last time we had a democrat for a president prior to obama?
What democrat policy can you name that actually helps the small business in the fight against major corporations? It's true the pubs are notorious for protecting money already made, but you make it sound like your side is better.

Obama has passed 20 small business or "jobs" bills since elected. Can you explain how these have helped with income disparity or corporate advantage? Why did we need 20?

i do disagree..this trend has been around forever..you just weren't aware because of lack of media/social media..
I quoted this just so I'd remember not to discuss economics with you Schy, no offense, but that's terrible.

Do you think some part time work was created because that's all that was needed? Do you think some of the part time jobs were created to avoid paying benefits of full-time employees? The trend you are talking about was businesses avoiding paying benefits. O'care lowers the threshold, so naturally, businesses did too.

The biggest problems as I see it economically are our corporate law/tax structure. It's taken decades for those in power to skew laws in the favor of themselves. Min wage laws hurt Mom and Pop 5 and dime while not touching the Wal-marts of the world. This gives the big corporations even more of an advantage.

America prospered on the idea of the "American Dream", where anyone with any means could come here and become a success. Now the liberal goal is to come here, work for someone else but have a guaranteed wage. I'm not a fan of your damaging policies. You guys keep coming with ideas that further entrench the corporate way, it's not how we should be doing it.
that sure is a lot of words to say nothing at all.

even if he was aware, he wouldn't have ever brought it up because it made his savior look bad.

he might have been made aware of it, but he probably blocked it out because of the cognitive dissonance it brought him as he was clinging to the underside of george w. bush's fetid nutsack.

Over your head again? We keep doing that to you, sorry man. One the one hand I want to treat you like I would a normal person, but on the other, I realize the special needs people like you need considerations.

My apologies.

none of it went over my head, there was nothing there in the first place.

reading that jumbled pile of catch words and vague statements was like eating a giant meal and not filling up at all.

say something substantive.

I would be willing to discuss the merits of a consumption tax, a graduated flat tax, or any other replacement option you'd care to discuss. I've been burned before trying have an intelligent discussion with you. As soon as you are beaten, confused, irritated, at a loss for answers, it dissolves into ad hom attacks. You really suck at this debate thing, but if you want to honestly debate it like adults I'm in.

Can you? Try this for a first step.
Why would a consumption based tax revenue be more damaging than the present social engineering we rely on?

Do you know why businesses pay benefits at all??

It is because in the past the government had the bright idea to limit the income of individuals and thus forcing companies to come up with creative solutions to pay people more than the max...

So, government got us here in the first place...

80% of americans want min wage at $10.10 and indexed to inflation here in the states.

90%+ of americans want universal background checks on gun purchases too.

but the republicans hate america and americans, so they will fight against america and americans tooth and nail.

it's because they hate america. and americans.
I want back ground check on anyone who thinks an axe is adequate for defense.....

Did you also make a note of the following during your epiphany?

Raising min. wage will have no effect on that stunningly negative derivative. I also presume you have never worked in a Union, correct?
I have....wasn't a member though even though the teamsters were voted in joining couldn't be mandatory....right to work state....I crossed the picket line while everyone else struck for a dime for a week.....lots of overtime it was great.....the picketers had to pay full medical that week also.....

I also saw the union bring back several ppl caught stealing red handed....with backpay....and was told to slow down and not work so hard regularly.....it was the epitome of retardation.
