Voidlings First Cab

Came home and checked my cab. That air bubble tubing is already screwed. The end cap came off. Too much pressure?

Stayed up way too late. Time for some good sleep hopefully.

They had 3/8 pipe to 1/2 barb but not the 1/2 to 3/8 barb. Well they did in brass but not plastic.

Had to get 1/2 on both ends and try to heat and stretch it over.

Unfortunately it is threaded. Then I forgot the smooth to threaded coupler. Doh

Dang Void? it seems like you are running into a lot of walls. Where are the source of most of your problems coming from? Are you flowering anything at the moment.

I have no idea why the air stone broke. Too much pressure is only reason I can see.I'm getting a new tub. Bleach water for the old stones, air lines, and the heater. What part bleach to a gallon of water ?I think the problem comes from having kept the water level too high. The bottom off the lid was always wet. I had used layers of duct tape and then drilled holes through it. The tape seems to have separated and such which could be the biggest chance of recurring slime as I can't clean in there. The temps are similar to my previous successes. I can't remember off my last good run had used rooting gel or not. These last two did not. All prior runs did, but my success rate wasn't ever good. After a lot of reading it appears that I shouldn't submerge my roots, though had success doing so in the past.I'm going to wipe down my cab walls with bleach water.Sterilize my equipment with rubbing alcohol.Going to hack up the mother.Put all the cuts in a cup of water for 24 hours.45 degree cut under water.Dipping in cloning gel. They will be divided up and put into my new cloner, cups of coco, cups of perlite if I have any left or can buy it, and a cup of water in the window. Went to my grandmother's the other day and she had a clear glass full of beautiful roots on the windowsill. Wish I could just take some to her and say work your magic. Ha. Strange she doesn't do well growing plants but seems great at rooting things, or sprouting seeds.I have one small cut in flower. I put 6? In my flower tub and only one rooted. Wish I had a way to test DO. May need to do something different with aerating the tub.

Wow, sorry. My phone screwed up and turned that to a wall of text. I'll eat and get on a pc to break that up.

Make your solution for sterilizing strong and rinse well (1/4-1/3 cup per gallon). Your right about the nooks and crannies hiding crud.
If it makes you feel any better your not even close to the first person going through what you are going through!

Oh yeah, definitely not the first and probably not the only one at this point. Thanks, I've got to go buy bleach and a tote still tonight. I'm exhausted, slept like 5 hours max

Everything is in bleach.

Tub construction is on hold for the night. I'm just too exhausted and stuff to play with cutting tools safely in a dimly lit shop.

Mother had wilted so no cuts taken. She's perked right back up. How long should I wait before taking cuttings?

Take cuts llike 1/2 hour after watering. If you use superthrive give mom a sprits with a drop in your spray bottle when you water. The cuts wont even wilt at all.

24 qt 15" x 11.5" x 11.75"

I'm using mini sprinklers and thinking a single one would do fine but thinking of two just to be safe.

Just realized that I got smooth to male threads, needed smooth female to threaded female.

So it won't be done tonight sadly.
