I think those are meant for off season amendment, like they break down slowly. Might want to crush it up a bit and use it as a top amendment as it's kind of a time release.

It was really strange.
I had a home depot employee walk me over to them. We notice one package has two bricks one has a single brick. The single brick was thinner than the thicker brick in the double. The whole box was various sizes mixed single and double bricks.
So that's cheaper than the moss I could find down here

So one bag of perlite doesn't fill the gap between containers. Had an injection this morning so can't drive or walk much. Planned to get my wicking bed done today but don't see that happening now 
Also dripped burning plastic on my hand and lost a small patch of skin

It's a monday eh?!
You could probably mix in regular gravel to fill space as long as the pearlite links together it will do the same thing.
