You're right, my research and interest in soil was the organic type and what I've seen of the other was people talking about miracle grow with slow release nutes. Vermiculture is on my projects list. So many projects.
Anyway... I looked up AskEd's coco guide on lawntown forum as it was written up real well. He said wait until the third set of leaves before feeding, so was definitely feeding too soon. Three of them took it real well though, but now I know my mistake. I'll definitely hold off on watering them this time.
The one that's doing horrible was yellow and seemed to be an N deficiency to me. Read in another thread on coco + lucas formula that it could be excess K. Unfortunately I have maxibloom and can't change the formula. Hopefully waiting longer before feeding fixes the problem as the other 3 are good.
I do not have a ph meter yet. I got my TDS + Temp meter in the other day. I have been using gallon jugs of RO water from Walmart from the most part since I don't know the ph of the tap water. Though I have used tap water too
I'll stick with jugs from now on. I need to get some lime to add to the coco.
At least two of the plants seem to have dark nearly purple stems. Hard to tell as I blind myself everytime I look in there, really need to make a fixture to reflect more light back down.
