I like to record the Sunday news shows on the major outlets and shows that way I can fast forward through commerials. I think they do a good job (as a whole) touching on most every angle of what happened for the week. I think that would be a good way to disconnect from news during the week and have one good binge on info.

Everybody has seen the shit show and knows the actors, the choice is clear and unambiguous, fascism or democracy, but democracy, means liberalism and that leads to equality for all. Those Americans who support Trump are fascists, this is not a label but a fact that Trump proved repeatedly with public confessions of racism, criminality and corruption. In the end it's really quite simple, either Americans support the US constitution and the ethos of the nation or they support fascism, human rights violations and the disenfranchisement of their fellow citizens. If they and Trump win, America is finished as a liberal democracy and most sensible people know it, it's life or death for Trump and for American citizens too.
There comes a point when those who support Trump own him, what he stands for and the crimes they enable, that point is well past. The treason is painfully obvious, easily proved, extreme and disgusting, he never uttered a word about the bounty on US troops, that says plenty, it shouts that he is owned by Putin and is a traitor. It appears 200,000 dead Americans, gross dereliction of duty and incompetence are not nearly enough to change their minds, treason won't and shitting on the troops won't either.

This is a logical argument but trump supporters are not logical.
There are two types of trump supporters. Ones who know what he’s doing and like it (white supremacists, kkk, racists, etc.). And ones who are disenfranchised with their lives and want to blame someone for it. trump gives them something to hate and they love him for it.
Serious times. Not just for the U.S. but for the entire world.

my father-in law refused his military parade six gun salute etc and it was in his will there was bad blood between him and his eldest son (FBI and ohio prosecutor) over this- he was ashamed at what this country became because after all the family sacrifice during the Revolutionary and Civil Wars; of course he was WW2?
at the end of the day, as the story goes, they did not honor his final request.
