plants looking great yea i trimm way more then you maybe i need to cut back on trimming all my fan leaves
Fan leaves are the driving force of the plant. And the will not expend energy keeping a fan leaf around thats not contributing to the health of the plant. If they are green leave them be...

damn thats a nice looking plant man..

Thanks man. They are progressing nicely.

And I have decide to turn #4 into a bunch of clones or a mother plant for now. I need the space and will just Flower some #4 following this grow and possibly outdoors this summer.

Got the T-5 and now going to flower under it, always wanted too. So plan E or F now. lol Ad lib grow space. Just going to wrap the bread tray in sheetrock. In the cup up tall is the first node cut. 2 little spot lower in the cup are the 1st from 3. Just there for now.

My T-5 was an Xmas present or I probably would not have one because I agree money better spent elsewhere. And your correct it may fall a little short lighting the entire plant. But it should give me a good indication of how effective the T-5 is. We can call it the 'shits and giggles' show. Oh ya the T-5 is a 8 bulb, 4 6500K and 4 2700K.

Sorry to hear you where down. Hope your feeling better. And your welcome pal.....

JPH was ahead of the curve on this one.

It would have been foolish to try and flower the entire plant under a T-5, rep JPH. So whack a Mole it is, are was, or will be...now we have 14 tops in a nice neat canopy. The second node had already made it up with the rest, bet it becomes dominant now.

HPIM1585.jpg
Didnt waste the top. Its in the cup of water with the first node cuttings. I will get them in some dirt this weekend to root in. The top was a pretty large cutting so I am not sure how it will be treated.

Least now I can get a shot of the preflowers that have been popping out the last few weeks...

I gotta tell ya I am pretty excited about flowering it under T-5 lighting.....

Cow shit is good stuff. Its just not as complete in most cases a EWC. They both definitely have there place in growing. I use cow and pig shit when recharging(composting used potting mix)to get things started...

They have grown to within 16inches of the light. Have had to move 2 and 3 down a bit. They will all get moved down to keep the canopy pretty much where its at for now. Still have only taken the first node and a little pinch here and there.
