Yep, I'm sure. Stalin went into a virtual coma when his friend Hitler invaded the Soviet occupied sections of Poland and the USSR itself on June 22, 1941.

Later he went into a real coma after instigating a new round of executions in the Doctors Plot. What an asshole. How could he have been in power so long?

Oh, I forgot... Russians are servile, weak and backwards.

Exactly. Which is why he dismissed reports of an impending attack. He thought they were weeks or months away from the invasion, even though he had intelligence otherwise. He was shocked, but not into a coma. That came months later.

Regardless, it didnt matter. The russians werent prepared. They were behind by about two years.

Maybe it's because you are outraged when it's pointed out that Russia's revolution ended in a totalitarian government that needlessly starved 10's of millions of Ukrainians and that was just the beginning of Soviet Communist death camps. All prior to WW2.

You can have your revolution and your firebombs. We don't need millions of dead to prove that peaceful change is preferable to all out violent revolution.
