Trump was asking Ukraine to do a press interview that they started investigations on Biden, it is manufacturing dirt. Biden was acting lawfully.

I wonder what Lavrov's meeting in the Oval Office with Trump was about? Firming up possible travel plans to Moscow perhaps? I don't think Donald trusts Mitch to "do the wrong thing" and might be getting some assurance and insurance. Trump might avoid removal from office through impeachment, the election in 2020 doesn't look so good though and if the GOP senate acquits him, it might not be so good for them either. The Russians will promise Trump anything he wants, when he's out of office and of no further use (or a threat), then Putin will double cross him. Just like Hitler did with Stalin in 1940, Stalin couldn't believe it and was paralyzed with shock for a week.
Having Donald run to Russia and then returned by Putin would be the best outcome for America, though his base won't accept the reality, it might have to be driven home, with a baseball bat!

Isnt that what the original case for impeachment was about quid pro quo?

The prosecutor had already dropped the case into Burisma at that point. So if anything Biden was INCREASING the chance that the company his kid worked for would be investigated.
No, the impeachment inquiry started because Trump illegally withheld the Whistleblower complaint longer than he was legally allowed after it went through all the legal channels and his troll on the Joe Biden got exposed.

You just jumped topics in mid sentence. To change the subject. Which phone call are you referent to, the one the doctored transcript Trump released that is not actually the real call? Or the second call that was so nice and fluffy that I still don't know if he thought it was the first call and accidentally 'leaked' the wrong transcript the first call.
The whistleblower doesn't matter, the stuff they said was all corroborated by higher up people who had understood fully what was happening.
And the criminals all hid behind POTUS use of his executive powers like everyone he blesses with his voice is somehow granted the powers of a married people not being able to testify against each other if they don't want to.
They are not, impeachment will happen, they may let a few Democrats in vulnerable districts to vote against it, but not enough to not pass it.
This is on the Republicans to do the right thing, it is out of the Democrats hands outside of investigating Trump's crimes (which is the House of Representatives duty to do oversight).

Trump, Mulvaney, Sessions, Barr, Pimpeo, Pence, they all denied subpoenas. It was obstruction of justice, they should have went to court, and pleaded the fifth. But Trump stopped them from doing that.
