You keep up. Why do you think this gal is 17, just because she has returned to college? And, does $80K sound like a lot to you? Too bad, about that.

Before it all crashed they were giving away these jobs to the right person. And the right person for a traveling Marketer calling on Restaurant Chains, is Sky.
Got the shoes, the looks, the confidence, to go out there and bring in sales for the Company.

Do you think that is easy? It is because you could never get that job. I had jobs like that in last 70s, getting started. I was making $45K, in 1979.

So, $80 is nothing, if..... The big IF, in Marketing and my profession, tech head, management, is IFyou are a Rain Maker. Make rain, get high pay.

It really is as simple as that. All the other jobs pay less than they pay to the creators of wealth for the Company.

So, you don't listen, and I barely do myself. But, I remember that the story is of a young and attractive, single mom, with 2 kids.

Company gets bought out, new boss and old husband are jerks. The new world beckons her, as my new world did me. I sniffed out a State Grant after I was laid off as she says she was. I canned the Jerk of a girlfriend and spent a full year, 20 x 7, sometimes, on any and every drug that would get me though the tech school...with a, guess what....4.0 GPA suckers. :)

With that it was a walk on, ticket to Sun Microsystems, and jobs I did not know existed. But, I had only barely heard of SMI as a company, I had no idea what they did.

$80K?

I make 2x that now. You have to find the high paid ecosystems, learn the talk and the walk, and get some!

The motivated among us, with change all, that is our way, and yes, it takes years.

Why is it not something to be cheered?

    I know I am poor... There is a poor area in town... I live on the good side of the tracks, except, the tracks are right behind my house...

    The time she put a piece of strawberry cake in my lunch...
    Yea, I notice that she dropped the Dawn dish washing detergent, the day before on my cake, I heard her yell CRAP....
    So, my cake tasted like soap...
    My mom doesn't really have it together...
    I love my mom... but she's not that together...
    Oh no... she forgot to pay my tab...
    I guess I will do without lunch AGAIN.....

    I agree with all that it is harsh treatment of school age children...
    Just so you know, in 7th grade... I did not eat lunch one day...
    Once in a while I saved enough to buy a milk...by myself...
    Yes, period 5 right after lunch... was math... such an easy class no home work, or class work done the whole year...
    Didn't get a great grade... but WTF... c+...no study...no work... floating through...
    I learned at a very young age... there is no free lunch...​

You are an idiot. I fired jerks like you every few years. No one applies for my jobs. Application for employment, in my thing, is by invitation, only. We only deep recruit from the best schools and we select and invite only those we would like to interview. Not only that. What we offer them is a job,

They are hired, de-facto, on merit before I see them. Then I can ask those I see as candidates to join us.

But, they are in, on merit alone, and will work for us somewhere, and we begin them, typically at around $80K...sometimes even $90K.

What you think is not relevant.

i can tell by the way you speak. You don't have to say your GPA, or say that you don't have one.

So, why lie here, and why not? We are simply entertaining ourselves, nothing more.

Whatever gave you the idea I thought she was 17? Tell us more about how much money you make. We believe you. Really. Young and attractive single mom.........who lost her kids, who are now fully grown....so not so young, still single so not so attractive, and unfit mom.

By your logic when you say you don't believe me, I don't believe you. So, if fact, you most probably, actually do, believe me.

She comes on here and backs up her Assertions, cites her sources and puts her opinions in context. She is also outgoing and honest, with ideological flexibility and an open mind.

What exactly is your problem with her again?

Why delete it? I can blow, soft and hard, and I bet Sky can, as well. And I think if Sky was "making a pass" actually, she might go about it more privately.

What I get is a red-blooded American girl that likes men, and know how to act around the red-blood, Men. She can dish and take.

Kinda refreshing after the likes of you, these years.

My State Grant, came with Food Stamps, to go with the $100 a week of UN-Emp. My first job was $18K and a company car. It was all just Rain Making from there.

A better life is just outside your trailer park if you just turn off the TV and go among us. Leave that jerk with the chip on his shoulder and scorn for all, back in the Park.
