That would work well. I can only get those trays that have ridges in them, i hate those things. Theyre such a pain in the ass to clean but if i find one that fits i might get one too.

I have lots of head room, its a cleanliness thing. Im a neat freak and i dont like any standing water orthings i cant sweep out easily or get under. Also i dont know if i could find the right size and think that milk crates would be cheaper and easier to get rid of when i go back to DWC :):):)

Well, I don't think a F&D tray would be expensive at all. How would you use a wilk crate, I don't get it.

I was going to put down the milk crate and then a plant saucer on top of that, then drop the plant and pot into the saucer. When id water, the saucer would catch all the runnoff from the plant and it would have a hole in the low side where the water would drain into somthing i could empty. ;)

1 dwc and 2 Superoot Airpot buckets. I had to submerge the solocup filled with soil plant in water and shake it off to try and renove a lot of the soil from it. Per the instructions from my local hydro shop. Have them uner 225w of 6500k fluorescent. Gonna get a t5/t8 3-5 bulb setup soon for more even coverage. Probably tomorrow. I'll add a picture tomorrow of them.

Whaat? 3/5 bulb?...never seen anything but even numbers. T5/T8?....youd be hard pressed to find a retailer of T8s at a hydro shop. Its probably used and if it is, check the connection points on the tubes when the light is on. Old bulbs have grey spots where they hook up to the ballast at both sides if theyre over used. They last like over three years just fine IMPO.

Bought an 8 bulb t5 setup for the new girls, a new tent and hydo nutes. The dwc bucket is filled up to halfway on the net pot, until the roots descend far enough to grow into the water further down. Using coco in the other 2 pots. The fixture says its 435w. DWC has 1/4 strength of light dosed nutes. The coco has no nutes added to it yet.

Coco has no nutes in it to start remember right? That light looks pretty kick ass man. Ive always been scared of coco, i bought a big ass brick of the stuff and still havent used it cause you have to be so on point with it. I like the water and walk away method :)

I watered them with a gallon and a half of ph'd water. I didn't use the cheap brick kind you have to treat and shit. I got the quality bags of it from my local shop. They didn't carry the bricks but he recommended staying away from it. I water the coco 3 days agao basically, and it's been wet since. The top showed a few dry spots when I checked it this morning before I left for work. I was told that people over exaggerate,( much like with everything else in this world, and things get blown outof proportion.) And it doesn't dry out as much like everyone says, you just have to water it well and thoroughly

Well, imshowing deficiency again. I think it was heat and light stress. Here are some pics, it was pretty uniform, regardless of the medium, so I figured it was heat and light stress. I doubted the plants needed 8 bulbs atm. So I turned it down to 4, and raised it a litttle. What do you guys think II'll get picks up later. It's white spots on the leaves and black/burned looking shriveled leaves in a few spots. 2 have no nutes, so I dont think it's nute burn at all. Think it was bleachxing and heat stress
