For smell control it's much better to have the carbon filter in the tent with the fan exhausting out. The way you have it there is not very effective for smell control, and makes for a positive pressure in the tent. Negative pressure makes sure no smell escapes and a good fresh air supply gets sucked in through the zippers etc.

As far as the AC you are using it to cool the water? You can't really have it both ways. Unless you add a radiant heat source in there maybe.
I'm confused I thought negative pressure was when the tent is sucking in...The fan is sucking hot air out and blowing it thru the filter....lol i'm not sucking air in thru the filter.....With that being said the fact the AC has its own exhaust out the other side defeats the purpose but I'm gonna exhaust that outside later today after work anyway. If this Hydro screws up I might remove the AC unit and get CO2 tank with gauges....But right now it would waste

I feel like Im good there....I measure humidity and i add mostiure when its low....but because of how moisture and air work (my math is not on point right now) but if it's 80 degrees and 30% humidity and you drop the temp 10 degrees real quick humidity will jump 20% so I never get to high or too low and I got crazy good air flow.....

Sorry my bad on the fan. I guess it's pointing the right way. Negative pressure is when the sides of the tent are sucking in.

Yea So I'll let it grow out....I just hope waiting another 3 weeks isn't to long to flower....I don't want that Sour D out of Control.....

3-13 Day (13 soil) (43 for Sour D)
I watered the sour D today..my big girl. Ended up giving her 72 oz of water. Ph'd to 6.4 at 400PPM. She's in a 5-Gallon fabric pot. I typically give her less than that and water when dry. When I made my nutrient solution it was too strong so I diluted it and poured it all in. I know a lot of people talk about water till run off and etc. Should I be doing that? I don't really want too much water "running off" I Keep my nutes pretty low anyway and use plain ph'd water every two waterings.
I think one of my favorite things about looking at my plants...Especially the GSC that's curved like a big Arch 20210313_081230.jpgand the Blue Dream that is shaped like a Y 20210313_081240.jpgthe way they are growing instead of growing tall and lanky, each branch is basically its own individual miniature plant....I'm just trying to get those nodes large enough to support large buds then I'll flower. I really like how the blue treat just has nodes lined up all the way down about to become little plants.

The Hydro is coming along nicely...THIS TIME" Since I restarted March 4th everything is much better. It's showing good Roots 20210313_081311.jpg when it took 3 weeks for me to see "ANY" roots last time and the ones that eventually came out were so tiny, flimsy, and thin. These look healthy and looks like they are getting slightly stained by the nutrient solution. The Top of the plant still looks like a mess but that's what happens when you have a sick plant that you are trying to bring healthily20210313_081328.jpg.

The Sour D as usually is a pillar of health and chaos. There is no front, no top, no back. Just a blob of a bush. 20210313_081257.jpgThere are over 80 tops before I stopped counting. There's a lot more, cutting clones won't be a problem.....

I also believe room is going to become an issue.

If the ac unit is powerful enough I would put it outside the tent and run some kind of ducting from it and into the tent. Maybe using one of those portal ac window seal kits or something.

So....That was actually an Idea I was thinking about....I'm not super great with my hands...I can build anything with software....but in real life I struggle and tend to buy shit out the store...But I wonder how I would do it...I thought about during flower just keep the tent door open during the day while I'm at work...and I can block the windows and keep the door clothes art night during flower...I really wanted to be able to control humitdy and temp which is why I did this.....
The SOUR-D is 6 inches tall measuring the highest ....One foot (12 inches) long and if you judge by that middle woody stem. And 6 inches wide. I need to some hold build out the back of this plant....Maybe I can get super creative and keep bending the holding down this so it finishes 3 feet tall with 3 months veg time....that'll be insane...
20210313_171627.jpg

The way I had it thought up in my head...The two Girl Scout Cookies I'll keep in the front of the tent closest to the door. Those are 8 week finishers. I'll keep the BD's and SD kinda restrained during their first two weeks of flower.. then when they are done harvest the BD two weeks later followed by the SD two weeks later and gradually giving slightly more space as plants leave...I dunno I'll figure this shit out as I go. If I gotta buy another tent so be it or take out the AC or whatever.

<bonus> How would I build something that connects to the front of this ac and blows into the tent?

Honestly I would just Google it, somebody has to have done it at this point.

Push come to shove a portal ac window kit, ducting, and some sort of duct tape so the cool air doesn't escape.

I mean I'm not going to buy "Another"ac unit...and I already have a window adapter to vent out the window...but that's for the front of the Ac not the back of it.... I mean i could construct something kinda complicated but then i'd loose the dehumidifier features and I dunno...I'll just chop away and make it work somehow....
light internal panic...

My Hydro Temp is holding steady20210313_174908.jpg

Wow the Sour D is really filling out nicely. Yesterday you could see a good amount of the middle branch but today it's mostly filled in20210314_103548.jpg

The hydro roots are doing great...I'm probably most excited about that considering how difficult I made it seem last time I tried...with the same plant. The roots are in the water and probably more then doubled last night maybe tripled. 20210314_103624.jpg
I guess the root should start branching soon....I added some beneficial's...myco and hydroguard. Water Temps go from 62-70f during the day. I run the AC in the morning at like 65 degrees for 2 to 3 hours to drop the water temps then I slowly let it rise throughout the day. The PH fluctuates pretty good but that's because I have such a tiny water level...maybe half a gallon to 3 quarters. I have a black 5-gallon bucket that I will transfer it to when the other plants grow taller. I'd have to raise the light if I put it in a 5-gallon bucket atm so I'm gonna wait to switch it...I mean If I gotta add daily for a while that's ok. The top of the plant is looking much better too. 20210314_103615.jpg

Finally, the two GSC's are looking great. Although are two completely different plant build types....I mean since I didn't know what I'm doing once is shaped like a golden arch20210314_103556.jpg
The other GSC is shaped like a small Midget with an afro20210314_103609.jpg
and the other Blue-Dream is looking great also....I wonder how the plants will look with the way they are growing. This one is a beautiful IMO I wonder what more expert people think...?20210314_103601.jpg

So on March 4th, I moved the lights around so I didn't have a light directly over the hydro pot while i was trying to get it to root. Now that the roots have hit the water I moved the 2000w(200w draw spider farmer led) directly over the the 3 in the front and then the 1000w(100w draw) is by itself directly over the back blue dream. The goal was to not have a light directly over the Sour-D and give the other plants a chance to grow with the most direct light....I just hope the sour D doesn't stretch to get to the light....I also turned around the blue dream just to get all of it's body directly under the light.20210314_194049.jpg.

I hope I get some more input on my journal.

I'm going to start with the Hydro today...even though it's the smallest it's the one I'm most proud of...if you've been following along you know that...or go back and read...but basically I started all the plants hydro except for the biggest one..I drowned all the plants with water level being to high, repotted them one march 1st...and pulled one out of dirt March 4th...because i hate losing...and started with a much smaller bucket, I gallon..used less .35th of a gallon of water...put a huge 6 inches round airstone and a 35w air pump so its basically misting water on the floor! Here are the roots now after only 10 days and I have a huge 8 inch net pot so they had to travel a good bit sizeways and they were maybe 1/2 inch of roots from the Rockwool when I re-potted it20210315_063539.jpg
My baby got pubic hairs!!!
20210315_063520.jpg
Then you can see I'm shaping my garden in the direction that I want the plants to go in...kinda pulling them down and towards that direction to best use my space.
20210315_064044.jpg
Basically where you see empty space that's where I'm pulling that plant while letting the branches grow up...
I feed the 3 smaller girls today plan water with Silicon ph'd to 6.4. I've been watering probably slightly less than I should...I'd rather under-water than over-water today I split 72oz's between the 3 plants...When the soil gets dry again I'll water more...The tent is in the same room as my office so I see the plants 60 times a day...They won't get too dry.
So the front 2 are GSC's20210315_063421.jpg
you've seen the hydros those are the ones I'm waiting on to flower since they have the shortest time 8 weeks so I think in two more weeks the branches will be large enough to switch to flower...I don't know if i mentioned it but my AC is 16 inches above the canopy i'm going to install the scrog net an inch or two above that...you think that is too high? I know the sour D and Blue Dram will make it no problem..
The BD is looking Amazing20210315_063649.jpg20210315_063434.jpg

And here's a close-up of the sour-d20210315_063414.jpg

So I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing... I think it's good because I'm pretty sure I'm dialed in perfectly with my hydro setup. I'm using a one-gallon bucket (I've got bigger buckets I can switch out to) filled just under halfway, with a 35-watt air pump and a 6-inch air stone made for hydro...huge water is definitely at it's saturation point. I keep water temperatures between 6--70 degrees with the help of my Air Conditioner. Overnight I noticed these white growths on my plants and I suspect it's just an overabundance of good microbes.
I used Eden Garden Myco and Bennifical's made for hydro, with plenty of hydroguard and a little bit of voodoo juice I had from a trail bottle. Here is the roots in question20210315_231307.jpg
It's a clear almost honet looking growth it appeared in a matter of hours...Res temperature was 64 degrees and you can see all the bubbles. I mean root hairs popped up overNight, I tend to think it's nothing I should worry about. But I don't know so I could really use some thoughts. If not I'll just have to wait and seewhat happens.

I did some pretty major lst on the sour-d20210315_231003#1.jpg

I beat it up real good and keep it at the same height as my other much younger plants. I'll give a more detailed update in the morning, it's late.

Didn't do much but defoliation trying to remove the leaves that are touching each other. It's honestly hard to get a good read on the age of the plants as i had planned to flower now but they clearly don't look ready....I mean the Sour D is but the rest aren't. Everything is coming along nicely. Oh I noticed ever so slight burn to the tips of some of the leaves when I feed the silicon only...I probably should have read the PPM recommendations....Apparently, 300PPM of silicon is to high, so I flushed each one with 72oz's of water...it only effected the 3 smaller ones and it's not noticeable and the affected leaves were part of my defoliation anyway.
There's a TON of bud sights in my Garden, I guess I'm waiting one or two more weeks and then I'll transition to flower. I know my net is set up stupidly....I hope they grow thru it and I can install one just above the AC unit. I'm going to really take advantage of making the colors come out of the GSC and make it super dry in there the last two weeks to take advantage of trichome production. I can't wait

only quitters quit. keep going!

as long as you don't make the same mistakes a 2nd time, you'll get this figured out. then it will become so easy you'll get bored.
I'm not quitting....bro I'm learning soo much and having a blast right now.....but i think i'm going to run out of space if i don't flower soon what do you think? That sour D looks out of control....
by space I mean width and blocking out the light of the other plants...
