I live in a 2 story house that is nearly 3000 sq ft with a 2 car garage... Wish I had a 3rd because the wood shop takes up most of it. Paid cash for the house.

Depends on where you live.
200k in many areas gets you 5-10 acres, a newer home, and 2-3k sqft. I suggest living in an area where your skill set is at the very least equal to the cost of living. Guys around here work on the end of a shovel all day, buy nice homes and drive fast cars on the weekends. People with masters degrees in many areas can't afford to live like that.
