Sanders is the strongest candidate against Trump in 2020

Aren't you taking issue with the people though? If people love Bernie and think he can do more than he can, well that's what every fan of every president ever has thought, so what's different?

Fortunately, people in congress aren't entirely in a position of power. They can create legislation and vote, but fighting things like too-big-to-fail isn't exactly popular, so it's difficult to do certain things. Try creating some legislation to get rid of greed in politics and see how many vote for it, but I can tell you Bernie would, even though it wouldn't happen and that's important, imo.

So you prefer a make believe world.

You have to strive for the make believe world because people can only achieve a tenth of what they hope/want/think, so if you aim for reality, we go backwards.

Bernie as president lol, is there a backlog of post offices that need renaming, he's done shit as a senator and people believe he will transform this country into some utopia, what a fucking joke.
See post 208, already addressed. You actually did exactly what I said people who espouse the false belief that Sanders hasn't accomplished anything would say. If you feel nothing listed is worth mentioning in regards to Sanders accomplishments, explain why

Any idiot can make promises he can't keep but all you have to do is look at his record, it says he's just another do nothing politician getting rich of the public and nothing else, the truth will set you free.
John Delaney is using your prefered political strategy of running on things we can't do. It's a bold strategy, Cotton, how's that working out for him?

Does it have to be a gas station? I think we're heaving to Trader Joes this weekend. Make sure to keep harassing me so I don't forget.

We're rural and I work from home, so it's not like when I lived in the valley and drove by things all the time. If you want to see a tree, I can show you a tree tomorrow.

I agree he may not have a ton of self-authored legislation under his belt. Here you can find an optimistic take on his achievements up to 2016...

Plenty with good and bad things to say about it. I guess the question comes down to why? Is it all him? If he had presidential control, he still wouldn't get much done because naps would get in the way?

Bernie sanders job since 2015 has been campaigning for president. That's it. No big accomplishments. Just taking in campaign money

Who do you guys think is the best in the group of dems? I feel like Bernie is at the front and my interest tapers off quickly after the first few. I do like Yang and Booker, but Biden's basically a republican riding the corporate pine. I like Warren for her anti-corporate agenda.

Gee we didn’t see this script endlessly in 2016 did we?

Well I mean you guys keep hollering to vote dem and Bernie is half dem and ran under dems last time and you can't stand him. I say I think Obama could have spent less on the war and you lose your shit. Make up your mind, or all you all jacked up on Mountain Dew again?

If you support the current system the way it is - a racist justice system and lack of social equality in places of work/school, obscene disparities in wealth and income, corruption in campaign finance laws favoring the rich and the powerful, failed healthcare and insurance industries, the most bloated defense budget the world has ever seen that's perpetuated by lobbyists and the military industrial complex, a lack of adequate social safety net programs to help the poorest members of society, a failed, racist war on poor people who choose to use drugs, etc., then you should probably choose someone other than Bernie Sanders for 2020

If you support systemic change and see these issues as actual problems, Sanders is the only candidate in the race seeking to fix them
