Typically I squish the bud and store the rosin in a freezer for a few hours then collect rosin using a frozen aluminum plate underneath. It is very easy and works 90% of the time but some strains will remain sappy and does not freeze. Typically my rosin is a shatter consistency so I can collect with absolutely no problems. The conundrum is that when I make rosin using a different strain like blueberry cookies, the rosin will be very sappy and hard to collect. I store it in the freezer for many hours but remains very sappy. My freezer will not get colder and I know all strains are different. Is there a simple way to make the sappy rosin actually freeze? I am thinking a diy freezer plate but there is likely a simpler way. Please help and I appreciate your suggestions.
