You can say that again.

Chicago will be a battle. Howard seems to be playing decent, but decent won't cut it against the Hawks. He needs to stand on his head and steal a game or two. The forward lines are pretty good, and with the emergence of some of these young guys they have pretty good depth up front. My biggest concern is on defense. When Rafalski and Lidstrom retired, they never really replaced either one of those guys with a top tier d-man, and it's starting to show. Kronwall is great, but aside from him every other guy back there makes me nervous. Quincey and Erricsson are a turn over waiting to happen, and Smith is still young and prone to mistakes. I hope the forwards are prepared to back-check their asses off because the likes Of Toews/Kane/Hossa/Sharp could really expose our D over a 7 game series.

I was thinking about something this morning, and that is this.

I almost forgot that we've played only half a season. I think this benefits us greatly and here's why. Indeed, we are a much younger team than we were last year, and obviously in years past and it seems our opponents now are a bit older. I think because the playoffs is such a hard road our youth may bolster us in terms of not being tired, run down, etc and perhaps will wear on our opponents a bit more.

That being said, Chicago isn't that old either, so my point is kinda moot, but hey, you get what i'm saying.

gonna stay up and watch this one for sure. along wiht a nice fat J of pineapple express, maby a dab of PE oil in my G-pen, and a few shots of 1800 silver tequila. :)

it was a rough start the the game as it was. a screwed up pass nearly cost us a goal in the first 5 mins. I ended falling asleep on the couch with the g/f start of the 3rd. figures the games a midday game. ive got a side job I have to do from 7am to about 6pm. wonder if 97.1 will have it aired? might at least be able to listen to the game.

Pretty sure 97.1 has the game. I worked last night and listened to it there.

I had the game recorded and watched it when I got home this morning and I really thought it looked like the wings beat themselves. I saw sloppy plays and alot of unforced errors. Whether it was a tough seven game series with ridiculous travel I dont know. What I do know is the wings are better than they showed in game one. So heres to a better effort on Saturday and hopefully celebrating a win!

Scoreboard of last game doesn't reflect a got-dang thing. It was 1-1 with 12 minutes to go in the 3rd and they got some flukey goals. Such is life, we did some of the same last series. I see pavel and hank coming correct tonight. 3-2 wings!!!!
