And here we are. Two weeks into flowering have gone by, and I can definitely say that she's a drinker, not an eater. Yesterday a bit after midnight (9:45 am here at the moment) I changed her rez, upped the ppms to 630, only to find them today at 719. I'm going to wait till tonight to adjust it to about 600s, and maybe even lower depending on what she'll do.

For the past couple of days I'm letting her be with only some minimum intervention. I don't want her to fill the screen even more, I wanna see some growth going up!

And some pictures that were taken about 15 mins ago.

Forgot to mention that from today she's on 11/13 instead of 12/12. From midnight till 11 am that is.

It's coming along nicely Bluez! It looks like you're going to have a decent canopy - It wouldn't hurt to let her grow vertically for a bit. If you notice lower nodes that could develop, you can always tuck some back under later on as well - depending on how much stretch there is..

Ta Dayzt :) Being my first scrog I'm not that sure on what I'm doing, but that was the general idea, to let her grow a bit and then if necessary do some rearranging

Thats a great setup brotha. I'm subbed. Looking forward to seeing your finish.
Cheers mate, I'm looking pretty much forward to that as well :)

It's been ten days since the last update, quite a busy period for me, however there are only good news to report.

First of all she started eating, and quite a lot at that. Accidentally when I last changed her rez I measured something wrongly and I gave her 1050 ppms. I realised it almost immediately but since it was way past midnight I let it roll thinking I'll just adjust her to the desired 700-750 I had in mind. The next morning tho she'd already taken it down to 880 and she continued eating for the rest of the week. At the moment she's stable at 820.

It's really like she's in an autopilot mode. Here's how she looks. This weekend will be the end of the fourth week of flowering.

Happy new year all, and quite a busy one for me at least for the time being. Unfortunately not busy music-wise, but then again my greenhouse is complete, we started work on the chicken shed while at the same time renovating a space to turn it into a living apartment. So there's not that much time neither to report on things, can't even follow the grows I'm subscribed to at the moment.

Anyway, enough ranting.

My ph pen broke down yesterday, a new one has been delivered and will be on my hands later today. I lowered her ppms to 700 since she wasn't drinking that much as she was used to. and I have adopted the philosophy that less is more. Other than that, she's growing great, and on the pictures, taken about half an hour ago.

PS. I'm looking forward to this weekend to take a break and look at your grows as well lads and lasses :)

Still looking great bluez - you may want to trim off those large fans under the screen that are hanging down and touching the top of the bucket... Looks like you're going to get a nice amount of WW from this plant... things are starting to heat up!! :weed:

Thanks Dayzt :) I'm constantly cleaning her but so far I've avoided cutting something that still wants to hang on. Truth be told tho, I'll have to cut quite a large amount of leaves at some point to improve air circulation when she starts fattening up ;)

We have entered the 6th week of flowering and everything goes great. Last week my ph pen got screwed (the electrode I think) and my mix went all bollocks to 4.3 ph for a couple of days till I got the new one. Fortunately nothing bad happened and I corrected the values to circa 5.8.

Two days ago I decided to spread her a bit more and managed to do that without snapping anything. I have to say that she's very bendy, I totally recommend her for beginner's scrog where someone like me is learning and wants a plant that can easily take some abuse by a novice grower.

I changed the rez yesterday as I do every Sunday, ppm target was at about 750, came out at 768 which is ok, as I've said she's not that much into feeding, and I'd rather keep it low that take it high.

On to the pictures now. :leaf:

I have to also add that I've noticed that since I don't go that far with nutes, the buffers don't really keep the ph stable and for the first couple of days after a fresh rez I have to adjust the values. Not that much of a hassle really.

This morning I just noticed a problem with some of my leaves and I would like some advice, I don't want it to get any worse.

I have a microscope and thoroughly checked for spider mites, didn't see any. I also had a look at images.google to see how spider mites look like, but as I said, nothing.

Any ideas? Of course rep will be given

yeah i would get sticky traps, gnats are very common these days they are spread via nurseries and stuff like that, better to be safe than sorry

Well, I introduced to her yesterday about 120 ppms over 1.4 litre and she looks really good (so in the total rez that would be 12 ppms extra). The spots haven't spread to any new leaves, so we're all great.

Other than that, nothing. She still drinks more than she eats, during lights on ppms raise to 830 and then fall down to about 770. Ph rose a bit, that was probably caused when I introduced the magnesium since I did it in a hurry and didn't balance the water, that's ok tho, just fixed it back to 5.8

Approaching the end of the 6th week. I changed her water yesterday and as usual today I had to adjust her ph again. I took the opportunity to clear up some leaves to improve the air circulation, the leaves that I cut were the ones that got infected anyway so kinda killed two birds with one stone. On to the pics now:

Budding nicely blue - maybe try and get some pics just before your HID lights come on, to avoid the yellowy shots. Coming along good!! :leaf:

Things have gone a bit tits up and I don't know what's happening, or better said, I'm not sure. This morning I took a look at her and one of the leaves looked like this:

I said ok, fuck it, and changed the rez with fresh ph'd water at 5.6 with the ppms being at 250 which is the natural state. Some time later the ppms rose to 350, either cause there's about 2-3 cms at the bottom of the bucket that I can't take out, or that she threw up the shit inside her.

Nevertheless, I got some mg for foliar feed and gave it to her this evening (if you call 23:45 evening!) Thing is that in this shithole of a country I'm living in, if you go about asking for epsom salts they look at you like you're claiming an alien spaceship landed in the next field! So that was not an option so I went for the other crap that I don't even know if it'll work. (Please don't visit Greece, tell your friends not to visit either, don't support the dictatorship we got).

Back on topic.

Despite some of the leaves looking like they've been burned while frying chips, she looks crisp! I have raised the hps so I won't burn her from the foliar feed, and I added a few cfls (4 * 15W for a total of 60 extra watts).
