And here's a quick look of how she looked about half an hour ago.

I'm thinking of changing her rez tomorrow but I'm too tired at the moment to make any decisions. The way she's growing looks like I'll start training her sometime next week

As I'm totally knackered I'm signing off for the day :)

I've done some training on her since I'm thinking of doing a scrog later on. Here's some pics taken a few minutes ago.

The plant at the back is one of the free seeds. It's doing amazing btw, but as it's my experiment plant there's no point reporting on it. The little one on the side is another WW on soil. Playing around really :)

I haven't checked the figures on ph and ppms since I'm still undecided on whether I'll change the rez, will see today. Keep safe bongsmilie

Looking good man. I can't wait for mine to get bigger so I can LST her.

Peace!
Cheers mate. She keeps on growing fast now, I have to tie her down even more ;)

I did change the rez eventually on Monday, but was kinda busy to report on it. I'm keeping her at 450 ppms and depends on how she'll be during this week, I might up them to 500 next weekend. I'll try to post some pictures tomorrow if I get the time.

Looking really great! Just watch those ones in the middle shoot up! Some of those leaves are looking a bit dark there and starting to 'claw' down some - you may want to keep or lower your ppms a tad for a few days - that's usually a sign of a 'full' plant. Remember, more nutes doesn't excellerate growth - less is more. :leaf:

...and my 2c tips of the day... ;-)

One thing I've learned is to watch your lower growth closely, especially at this stage. If you have a nute burn or deficiency starting to develop, you'll see the signs effect those lower ones first... thus the darker low branches there. Later on, those low leaves act as 'mudflaps' to keep some of the waterfarm splashing down and from reaching the plant above. Once you start flowering (about 1 week in), those lower leaves and small branches can be trimmed off (or used as clones), as their job is essentially finished. This allows for the energy that had been sustaining those lower trimmed parts to benefit your upper plant. :leaf:

Thanks Dayzt :) I do indeed try to keep ppms down at about 400-450, she doesn't seem to like anything more. And cheers for the tip. I'll keep a close eye on those lower parts :weed:

Here's a photo from last night

And one from today morning

The picture above was taken at 7:45 in the morning or thereabouts. The picture on this post was at 17:30. The lights were off from 11:00 to 17:00.

Forgot to say that she hasn't developed an appetite for nutes. I try to keep her everyday at around 450, only to find that the next morning ppms are over 540. At the moment she drinks about 1 - 1,5 litre per day (approximately)

Today's ppms were at 460. Had to bring em down yesterday to 430, won't touch em today. Instead I gradually lowered the ph from 7.1 to 5.5. No more messing about with the water till Sunday when I plan to change the rez. :hump:

Got her tied down a bit more, this is how she looked after I was done about an hour ago

I made my mind on how I'm going to build the screen. This is one of the parts that comprise my tent skeleton

So I'm just going to decide at which height I want the screen, put four of those pieces all around the skeleton and voila, a steady screen that won't move neither up, nor down . However to ensure that there'll be some sort of flexibility I'll use some kind of string that will not damage the plant. Still haven't decided on that.

Another damn problem I've got is that the autos that I'm growing are taking forever to finish:wall:. I'm not updating the other thread cause seriously, there's nothing to update! But I need the space they're occupying in order to put 4 new plants that I got in soil (one of them featured in the pictures). So I'm like waiting to see how I'll handle my space in the most efficient manner. Worse to worst, I'll let them veg up till xmas, by then I should be done with the (so called) autos.:joint:

Four weeks gone by, alas, we're getting older but they're also growing :) I haven't filled up any water from Saturday as I was planing to change the rez yesterday but I didn't, so today the water from 15litres was down to 12 and the ppms to 580! I said that she's not into nutes yet, she's just drinking water.

But anyway I'll change the rez in about 7 hours, I'm preparing it as I write this message.

Nothing to report really, she's reacting really well to training, here's two pictures from about 20 minutes ago.

Changed the rez yesterday, she still doesn't take up that many nutes. I had the ppms at 400 and 24 hours later they were at 430. Ph once again rose quite a lot, went up to 7.8 from 5.6! Brought it down to 6.8 and we'll see how she'll go.

The point is that she's growing quite fast. I rearranged the space a bit, the other four are again white widows from the same batch, 10 days younger but of no concern to us now :)

I'm going to let her veg for a few more days, on Thursday or Friday I'll make the screen and switch her to 12/12 either on Sunday or soon after.:hump:

A few more photos to show how she's doing and to register the progress.

ppms at 420 (rose from 400)
ph at 5.8 I'm trying to balance it, but it keeps on rising. Then again I don't worry that much as it seems to me that she's taken control!

What i've read I wouldn't worry too much about the PH unless it goes above 7.0. By the looks of it most people in the veg stage are getting a PH range 6.0/6.8 and there plants look good.
In the later stages the FNB has PH buffers in it to take care of that. Ooooh i'm loving this grow atm.

Cheers man :) I'm not worrying anymore, specially since she's looking great and growing in an amazing rate. I'm quite stunned actually, I see the pictures taken a few hours ago and it's not the same plant! During the weekend the young ones will go to the flowering (bath)room and I'll put her on 12/12 and construct a screen on her. I think it's going to be a fun ride :)

Well, it's not actually screen down since the screen has been constructed on the tent frame by adding some extra parts I had left. They are a bit 'bendy' but I reckon they'll do the job.

Tomorrow Sunday the 4th, I'm changing the rez and switching her to 12/12 aiming for a mid - February harvest (at least in theory).

Forgot to mention that obviously the other plants will move tomorrow

Changed the rez, the light and the timer today. She's going on 12/12. I could have veged her for a bit longer but since I'm still learning I though what the fuck, just turn her to flowering. I don't really want a giant plant.

So I increased the ppms to 580, since during the last couple of days she showed some interest in getting some nutes. I put the ph at 5.6.

A couple of photos, the lighting is not very good but it is natural :) I had taken off the lamp to make the change.

Been a bit busy lately but things have been going on without any problems. I upped the ppms to 580 and she's keeping them steady while at the same time she's consuming about 1.5 litre per day.

Here's a couple of pics
